"Seriously. You shouldn't be so focused on school when the world is at stake." Epsilon says as I'm eating lunch two days later at school. 'I'm focused because once this is over, I still have my preparations for the following school year to deal with.' I thought.
"You really expect your life to return to normal after we stop Sigma? If we got here, who's to say that more won't come from that universe?" Epsilon asked.
'Its a possibility. But I highly doubt it. If you're suggesting that I'll have to face the many enemies that the Freelancers and the Reds and Blues faced, then I'm walling myself in and letting someone else take the lead in saving the world. I'm doing my fair share already escaping death once. And maybe gave my muscles too much stress which is why I missed school for two days.' I thought.
"We never said it was an easy task to accomplish." Delta says. 'True. But I also knew that it'd be difficult when I'm going against a killing machine driven mad by an A.I. And then there's the technology you guys have from your universe. Way better than anything here.' I mentioned.
I throw my trash away and head to one of my many classes to do makeup work. I'd ask Delta, Epsilon, and Theta to help me but, my teachers would think I'm cheating so I make sure they went offline before I got started.
The tricky part was that the following week was finals. Once the leash of school was cut, I had to make a beeline to Rooster Teeth's offices before the Meta and Sigma get there. And how the fuck was I going to get there? I have no fucking clue because that's a lot of money I don't have.
By the time I was out of school, I was riding my bike and skipping the fucked up gas station. I was surprised that the police haven't pulled up the security feed and saw me. Then again, they probably wouldn't believe me if they wanted answers as to what was happening. They might even throw me into C.O.C or some other psychological therapy to make me believe everything was fabricated.
But that gas station had police all over it. And witnesses from that day were probably traumatized from the experience. Me? I was hurting and tired but no one would know because they didn't catch my face in the moment.
"All I'm saying is that we need to make a plan. With the knowledge of the Freelancer armor abilities, we need to find them and use them to our advantage." Epsilon says. "Makes sense. I don't know if its canon but I think Wash's EMP armor ability was taken by the Meta. Unless I'm just thinking of York's healing unit." I said.
"I believe it is possible for Agent Washington's armor ability to be here. But it is also possible it was on the Mother of Invention after Epsilon attempted to deconstruct himself in Washington's head." Delta says. "Yeah. Not my proudest of memories. But Delta has a point. Even if its in this universe, what would you even do with it?" Epsilon asked.
"Isn't it obvious? To make sure that Sigma is fully gone and not in government hands, I need to destroy all of you. A normal person like me, a minor nonetheless, can't get their hands on an EMP. That's military equipment we're talking about. But the armor ability is small and compact. And looks like a charm to a necklace. Point is, I have high hopes that its here somewhere. Meaning we need to find it." I said.
I lock my bike up in the shed and head inside to find my parents with an officer. 'Shit.' I instantly thought. "Y/n L/n, I presume?" The officer asked turning towards me. "Yes sir." I answered. "You are so nervous. Calm the fuck down." Epsilon says. 'I'm nervous if he's here because of the gas station.' I thought.
