Kaylee

It's been a few days since the "incident" of me leaving my sisters, but ever since that day we made the promise, we've been completely inseparable.

Of course I had to talk to Romeo, because at first he thought I left him, but when I told him what all went down that day, he agreed with my decision, which was that I could go out with the girls daily, but go home with Romeo at at least 11pm.

Currently it's September 18th and it's Sunday, and tomorrow I'm going to school because Romeo said we can't have anyone thinking there's something going on between us.

It has been a couple of days since I've been at school, and most of my teachers have been calling my phone because of my absence, but I know they're wondering why they haven't heard from my parents.

Well, that's simply because I never put my parents phone number on the parent contact sheets. I mean, I know they won't pick up the phone anyways, so why waste their time?

Plus it's annoying; to have your teachers call your parents every single time you do something wrong. Like seriously I'm 18, why the hell do you have to call my parents? They're too into their businesses and works anyways, so what's the big point they're trying to hit here?

Plus, there's no way in hell I'm scared of my parents. In all honesty, I'd be more scared of Maya and Maxine than be scared of my own parents, and that's because they actually have an eye sight on me, and can easily beat me with pillows.

But anyways like I was saying, tomorrow is school and I'm honestly prepared and ready to go back because I been missing my teachers.

Well, most of them

"Kaylee wake yo ass up! School is today and you can't be late!" I heard a voice scream

I woke up to the annoying sound of my little sister's voice yelling to wake me up. I groggily got out of my oh so comfortable bed and took another shower to get dressed.

I walked in my closet and looked through my hangers and looked at my wardrobe of the day, and it's a baby pink shirt that has 'BabyGirl' in white ink and a pair of denim jeans that I'm going to pair with my pink and white Nike's.

When I was younger my older cousin's mom told me a few years ago that you sweat in your sleep, so I make sure to take a shower in the morning and at night time, and I also make sure brush my teeth before I go to bed and before I leave the house.

I got in the shower and rinsed myself off trying to get the sweat off and lathered myself up with soap making sure every part of me is covered. Then I took my face towel and washed my face making sure to get behind my ears and in my eyes since I just woke up. Then I washed the soap off me making sure I didn't have any on me, and dried myself off and carefully got out the shower with the towel tied around my upper chest.

I walked to my mirror and looked at my natural beauty. I'm glad I don't look like those Barbie dolls that attend my school, because I'd have publicity and fame but no self love and self admiration. I love my body and nobody has been able to tell me that I'm ugly, because I have a high self esteem that no one could ever break.

"Kaylee hurry the fuck up, we still gotta pick Maya up and you acting like an old ass woman!" Max yelled once again

"Bitch calm the fuck down, sexiness don't take seconds to create. Plus she's around the damn corner, we gonna get her in a few, and if she calling tell her to fucking wait."

I heard her sigh and huff from outside the bathroom and laughed knowing I made her mad.

Like I said, it's one of the biggest highlights of my days

I quickly got dressed because when I checked my phone it read 7:45, and we needed to be there by 8:30. I called Maya telling her to be ready in 15 minutes and she responded with an 'ok' and 'love you'.

I got dressed in the clothes I laid out on the counter top and walked out right after. Then I walked over to my full body mirror and started doing my makeup and put my shoes on.

When I got done with my makeup I took my hair out of the messy bun that I put in there last night and curled it with a curling iron.

Then I checked myself one last time and grabbed my satchel off my door knob and walked out of my bedroom and walked down the stairs to see Max patiently sitting on our couch with her air pods in and scrolling on her phone, no doubt checking her Instagram.

I slowly crept up to her making sure not to make a sound and screamed in her face.

"Getcha ass up, we gotta get Maya remember!"

She screamed from fright and pushed herself off the couch and her phone landed on the floor while she laid sideways off the couch clutching onto her chest. Her perfectly styled hair was now a little frizzy, and the look on her face was hilarious, because she looked at me with so much hatred and jumped up.

"You better get your red head tomato looking ass out of my face before I scratch you up." She grunted with anger

"Scratch me up then hoe." I retorted and dashed out the door

I ran to my car quickly unlocking it and sliding in the driver seat and locking the door. She growled and started beating on the window.

"You better stop with your Hulk Almighty looking ass and get in the car so we can get Maya. She already calling me." I screamed through the window and unlocked the door

She jumped in and sat in the chair with a smirk on her face that shortly disappeared. She then took out her air pods and put them back in her ears and started listening to music.

"Ok then." I replied driving off to get Maya

When we made it around the corner I called in to tell Maya we were outside. She came out in a heartbeat wearing an oversized white pullover saying 'My Kinda Bitch' in black writing with black leggings and her white and black Vans and her hair was curly.

If you're wondering why we have so many clothes with curse words on it, it's because we don't have a dress code so we buy and wear whatever we want.

When she got in the car, she said hey to everyone and put her air pods in and looked out the window. I already knew what was going on, and that's exactly why I didn't question it because we both knew it's one of those days.

One of those days where she was remembering her troubled past because of her biological father. He was never a good parent in her past, and luckily he's been in prison for the past 6 years, but as a daughter I can respect that she needs a father figure around.

Making it my job to take Maya's mind away from her troubled past, I sped down the road trying to get her to the school fast as possible so she can bury herself in her studies and never be bothered with those kind of thoughts again.

Hopefully those thoughts will be gone soon...

For Maya's sake
