Zane POV

I get into the car with Garroth and Vylad, already dreading the ride home. It's either them talking and trying to get me to talk or awkward silence after a fight.

We started to drive and Garroth and Vylad started to talk. I looked out the window and saw a familiar pink blob standing in front of the door. She all of a sudden went down into a kneeling position and covered her ears.

She looked so weak.

"Can you stop the car? I need to get out for a moment." I stated. The driver did as I said and I didn't need to look back to see my brothers' confused faces.

I ran up to her and kneeled beside her.

"Kawaii~Chan?" I called out, but her eyes were tightly shut and tears pricked her eyes.

"What's wrong? Are you alright??" I said, the worry in my voice started to show. I didn't know what to do. How do you comfort someone?

She's hurt. How can I help her?

You can't.

I should try at the very least.

I put my hands on hers. She probably can't hear me. When I made contact, she flinched but didn't move. I slowly pried her hands away from her ears.

She then slowly lifted her head and looked at me. When she saw me, she instantly started sobbing and covered her face.

"Kawaii~Chan! Don't cry, it's ok!" I tried to say, but my words didn't seem to get through to her.

"Don't call me by her name anymore! I'm not her and I never will be!" She screamed. I look at her with saddened eyes and instinctively wrapped my arms around her.

"I won't, then. But I don't know what to call you. So tell me, what's wrong?" I cringed at my words, wondering if I said the right thing.

Yo! It's the author and I just wanted to make a clarification. The text in the italics is kinda like their negative thoughts or 'demons'. I want to make it so the bad thoughts are heard as well as their own mind trying to battle it, like Nana does.

Nana personified her dark side of her mind as her fake personality, which turns into something that resembles split personality disorder but it's not entirely that. With Zane, his negative thoughts are like another him and his family (which will probably be shown later on if I remember) telling him things that bring him down.
