"You!" A harsh growl escaped Im Nayeon's lips as she held Chaeyoung above the ground. Her large hands grasped the collar of her shirt, helping her boost Chaeyoung off her feet and stay stuck against the wall.
Chaeyoung had never known Im Nayeon to have such strength, oh the fury of a woman. She should witness the fury of a woman scorned, too bad Tzuyu had composed herself so Chaeyoung couldn't see her wrath.
"Nayeon!" Jeongyeon said and came to Chaeyoung's aid. "Fuck off Jeongyeon! She deserves a beating! I warned her! I warned you didn't I?" Nayeon screamed in Chaeyoung's face.
"I didn't mean to hurt her." Chaeyoung breathed out. Nayeon dropped the younger woman and instantly swiped her hand, a harsh slap against Chaeyoung's cheek echoing in the room.
Chaeyoung's face had turned from the slap, her cheek growing red. Chaeyoung bit down on her trembling lip and lowered her head. She knew she deserved this. Yes, Nayeon did warn her, two years ago.
"Hey, you two okay in there?" They heard Nayeon ask. They jumped and parted from one another, blushing. "Y-yeah." Tzuyu said. Nayeon opened the door and cleared her throat."Here's a towel baby. Come out and I'll get you into some pajamas. I've called your parents and told them you'll be staying the night." Nayeon said.
Oh Im Nayeon, such a motherly figure. As she got out Tzuyu jumped up and turned to face Nayeon.
"We're dating now unnie." She blurted out. Nayeon looked at the two in shock. "What?" She asked. Chaeyoung cleared her throat and wrapped the towel around her body.
"We're dating now. I...I've had feelings for Tzuyu for a while now anyways." Chaeyoung said. Nayeon crossed her arms. She wasn't convinced at all.
"I see...Tzuyu step out for a bit please. I need to talk to Chaeyoung about her stitches." Nayeon said. Tzuyu did as told and walked out, closing the door behind her.
"Dating Tzuyu out of the blue I see. Hmm..." Nayeon's voice trailed off. Chaeyoung gulped. "It's like what I said. I've had-."
"Cut the bullshit Chaeyoung. You're being irrational at a time like this. Don't you dare throw yourself into a relationship with Chou Tzuyu just to forget about Mina." Nayeon snapped.
"I'm not!" Chaeyoung snapped back. Nayeon raised her hand as if to slap Chaeyoung, but she couldn't. She just gritted her teeth and looked at Chaeyoung angrily for being stupid and saying stupid shit.
She didn't practically raise her for her to be acting this stupid and all because of a broken heart. She grabbed Chaeyoung by the towel and brought her close.
"If you hurt her, you know I will make you suffer ten times more than Myoui Mina has done to you. Tzuyu is not some girl you can use to your hearts content to manipulate and fill the void just because you couldn't get Mina. I'm warning you Son Chaeyoung, I can be like your mother and I can be your enemy. Tread lightly." Nayeon hissed.
Chaeyoung gulped once more and watched as Nayeon ripped open the door, marching out.
Chaeyoung swallowed her saliva, it burned as it sunk down her dry throat with the lump.
"I....I was a fool. I know." Chaeyoung croaked. Nayeon, still fuming looked down at the younger woman, fire in her eyes and fist clenched. How dare she hurt one of her beloved maknaes. She warned her, she did.
Why did Chaeyoung let love overpower her common sense? Nayeon wanted to beat her, she truly did, with anger blazing in her heart.
But she cursed to herself under her breath, turned on her heels and walked away leaving Chaeyoung to sulk against the wall with a bruised cheek. "Chaeyoung-."
