The city and university was far more exciting than Tine had expected. He still hasn't managed to make any new friends, as everyone had already formed groups of their own before they enrolled, and didn't want to associate with anyone new - especially not a "country" kid such as himself. But he didn't mind. He was used to being alone, and with that came the ability to find hobbies and joy in the little things.

For the first couple weeks, he'd spend his lunch eating by himself in the cafeteria while reading. And on weekends he'd go around checking out different locations in the city. He had gotten many strange stares for always being alone and without any companion, but he paid no attention to it. It wasn't so different from the stares he'd receive from the townspeople whenever he was outside the comfort of his home.

And being alone made it all the more easier for him to concentrate on his classes, and to observe the non-humans. He noticed the humans were quick to avoid anyone that had certain features such as wings or horns.

During the first week, Tine had also been invited to an online page. When he clicked on it, he realized it was a list made by humans to write down zeros - non-humans who don't have visible features like most magic beings, and appear full humans - and ensure the humans knew who to avoid. If they wanted to avoid them that is.

Tine didn't mind if he were to be approached by a non-human. In fact, he wished one of them would approach him. But with the fact that he was human, he doubted it would be possible.

The list was run by students of the school, and well detailed. It properly separated the years the non-humans were in, and had pictures and names provided along with their major.

Tine often visited the page for the sake of research. He quickly noticed the fact that most of the zeros were werewolves and witches, and usually some of the most outstanding students. Furthermore, they were all extremely good looking. Especially the werewolf senior named Sarawat Guntithanon.

Tine had nearly gotten a heart attack when he first saw the wolf's picture. And it seemed he wasn't the only one because despite being a werewolf, Sarawat had a fan club, consisting of all beings, known as the sarawatwives.

He was almost jealous he wasn't as nearly good looking and talented as the non-humans, but compared to how sickly he used to be, how he looked now didn't matter as long as he was healthy.

Sarawat raked his hand through his hair in frustration. He couldn't understand why Dim was so insistent on making him the spokesperson and leader for their booth. Yes, it was important they had enough people join their club if they wanted to keep it open, but he didn't want to sell his patience for the sake of getting members.

The ones that signed up would most likely be part of the weird, "sarawatwives" club, if he were to be the one in charge of the booth. So he'd rather it be Air or Earn who took charge of the booth, that way they'd at least get members who wanted to join because they actually enjoyed music.

He sighed, and made his way towards his booth. He may not be happy with the decision but Dim was still a senior he had to listen to. As he was about to turn the corner, he was hit by a sweet and lingering scent. His wolf began to go wild, and before he could process everything, a tall figure collided into him.

He stumbled a little, barely managing to keep his balance, as he wrapped his arms around the stranger's waist.

'Mate,' his wolf persona howled. Sarawat's breath hitched as he felt his skin heat up from the contact. The smell of his mate growing stronger, and making it harder for him stop himself from claiming the latter.

"I'm so sorry, Khun," his mate breathed out, pushing himself away from Sarawat and looking at him directly in the eyes. Sarawat felt disappointed when his mate pulled away, but stopped himself from pulling him back into another embrace when he noticed his mate was a human. A handsome and yet wonderfully adorable human.

He frowned deeply, stress and disappointment arising some more. He had waited years to find his mate, and now that he had finally found them, there was a great percentage he'd be rejected.

He sighed, "What's your name?"

His mate blinked in surprise, "Huh? O-oh, I'm Tine. Tine Teepakorn."

"Well, Tine," Sarawat tested out the way his mate's name sounded rolling off his tongue, "do you know what just happened?"

Tine pursed his lips. "Um, I bumped into you?" He asked innocently. "I really am sorry."

Sarawat chuckled, moving closer till the boy was trapped between him and the wall. He gently took hold of Tine's chin and moved closer to the boy's reddened ear, "It seems my wolf has just claimed you as my mate."

He pulled away, and observed the way Time scrunched his eyebrows in confusion before turning a bright shade of red. Sarawat raised his brows at the unexpected reaction. Maybe he had a proper chance after all.

"You-you must be joking with me," Tine accused, but there was no hatred, nor disgust, only pure shyness.

Sarawat smirked, wanting to take the risk as he moved in closer to plant a soft kiss on Tine's forehead, allowing the two of them to feel their body heat up with sparks only felt between mates.

Tine reddened some more, now believing Sarawat was speaking the truth. He had read enough on soulmates between werewolves to understand what he felt from the simple kiss was more than just a reaction from when someone attractive was hitting on him - he's never been hit on before, truth be told, but he assumes it's similar to this.

Not getting any resistance, Sarawat trailed his lips from Tine's forehead, and to his nose; the lips being his final goal. But before he could lean in to plant a kiss on Tine's lips, Sarawat's phone rang. He cursed as he pulled away to answer, wanting to kill whoever interrupted him.

Tine fanned himself once Sarawat moved away from him. He readied himself to run away but was stopped when Sarawat grabbed hold of his wrist, sending him a demanding look, stating, 'don't you dare think of leaving.'

"What?" Sarawat snapped into his phone.

"Ai'Wat, where are you? I thought you were going to help me with the booth?" Air's voice rang through the phone. Sarawat sighed, looking at Tine who was timidly waiting for him to finish his call.

"I'm on my way," he informed Air, smirking at how adorable his mate was even though he was nothing more than standing still.

"Well, hurry up, 'cause it's starting to get crowded and I'd rather not lose potential club members," Air stated before hanging up.

Sarawat pushed his phone back into his pocket. He moved his hand so it was no longer gripping onto Tine's wrist but entwined with his fingers instead.

"I've got to help my club member out with the booth. Come with me?" He asked gently, raising Tine's hand to give it a soft kiss.

"I've got to find a club to join," Tine said, trying to ignore the burning sensation lingering on the spot Sarawat kissed.

"Ow, then just join the same club as me," Sarawat suggested, wanting more opportunities to spend time with his beloved mate.

"The music club?" Tine wondered remembering seeing some posts of Sarawat performing.

"Someone has been stalking me," Sarawat teased, loving the way he managed to make Tine blush so easily.

"I-its not like that," Tine sputtered out, "I just happened to stumble upon a video of you performing, okay? And also, I can't play any instruments."

Correction - Tine had willingly searched up Sarawat after he saw his profile on the list of zeros, and went down a rabbit hole of looking at the posts made by the said individual. He had immediately fallen in love with Sarawat's song covers and photography skills. But he didn't want to admit to it first thing during their first encounter.

Sarawat began to walk, dragging Tine with him. "It's alright if you can't play instruments. I can always teach you."

Tine pouted, but didn't resist and allowed himself to be dragged to the booth by Sarawat.
