Naabutan ko sila mom and dad sa kitchen eating lasagna.
"Hey.." I greeted them at sinaluhan na din.
"Can't sleep??" tanong ni mom sabay lagay ng food sa plate ko.
"Yeah" mahina kong sagot. I don't know if I should tell them about what happened earlier at kung ano sinabi ni thirdy. I didn't know what their reaction would be.
"Thirdy told me he loves me earlier" cautious kong sabi. Ilang minute din silang tahimik na nag tinginan bago nag salita.
"You didn't know?" tanong ng mom ko while raising her brow. Napakunot noo ko.
"What do you mean?" nagkibit balikat lang siya.
"Ano sabi mo?" tanong naman ni dad.
"wala... hindi ako nakapagsalita" sabi ko sabay tingin sakanila. Nagtinginan muna sila before they gave that look na parang bang 'state the obvious' kind.
"What?" naguguluhan kong tanong.
"Bakit ba hindi mo nalang kasi sinabi sakanya??" he asked.
"sinabi na?"
"You like him too" he said like it wasn't a big deal. Na parang wala lang.
"What?!" medyo napataas boses ko sa gulat.
"C'mon anak... it's not like it isn't so obvious?" sabi ni mommy.
"Excuse you?? It is not!" pagtatanggi ko.
Was I obvious? Omygod.. so gusto ko nga siya? Nagugulat nalang talaga ako sa sarili ko sometimes. Walang pa notify muna bago ganito.
"Admit it bei. You didn't realize you like him until recently, huh? May nag bago that's for sure." Maya maya napatingin kami kay kuya na pumasok sa kitchen. Napailing nalang ako habang kumain.

"Ano sabi niya nung hindi ka sumagot?" dad asked.
"He would make... ligaw daw" nahihiya kong sabi. For sure my cheeks are red na from embarrassment. Hindi ako sanay!
"Wow! May manliligaw na ang kapatid ko. Sino ba yan ha?" my brother teased and messed with my hair.
"Kuya!" inis kong sabi.
"Sino nga?"
"Si thirdy" I said waiting for his reaction.
"Wow, finally naman diba?" napatingin ako lahat sakanila. Parang pinagkaisahan ako dito ah? Nakakahiya naman sakanila. Hmp
"That's why he asked if he could talk to us over dinner tomorrow" napatingin ako kay mommy sa sinabi niya. It was like a realization.
"Naniniwala talaga kayo na he likes me? For we know maybe he's just kidding!"
Charot syempre umaasa akong seryoso siya. He's serious right? But si thirdy yon! Omygod. My head is spinning from all this. Nakakastress pala to.
"You guys look good together" biglang sabi ni daddy. "And I approve of him. Kilala ko siya. He's responsible, respectful, knows his priorities, family-oriented and he's a... basketball player" dugtong niya pa and shrugged.
"Puring puri ah? He already has a big ego let's not push it."
Nasa training kami ngayon preparing for the next game and fixing yung mga errors na ginawa naming sa huli.
"No way... no way... no way" paulit ulit kong sabi habang naglalakad si thirdy papasok ng gym na may hawak na pagkain. I just stared at him. Kind of nervous.
