(Aang's POV)
I look around at the woods surround me. For some reason I felt confused and unsure... but of what? I walked down the path that eventually lead to an open area and a lake. After looking closer I saw two people. But not just anyone. It was Katara and Ara. I smile and start to approach them.
"H-hey, hey! Katara! Ara!..........guys?" My voice goes from relieved to hesitant and confused. They stood by the shore line just staring off into the distance. "Guys?...." I reach out to Kataras shoulder, and just as I'm about to grab it she whips around, startling me. There was something wrong. Her eyes glowed white and she spoke in a scary voice, almost like she was being controlled.
"You have to decide Aang." she demanded.
"W-what?" I step back a little.
"You can't have both of us."Ara says as she turns towards me. The same thing has happened to her too: glowing eyes and a scary voice. They're now both facing me, staring with dark expressions. What is going on...
I now realize that it's getting windy and the lake was getting worked up, like a storm was moving in. But it wasn't a storm, it was Katara and Ara. And just when I thought it couldn't get anymore intense, the water began to come up out of the lake and swirl and surround Katara, the same with Ara but with the windy air. I take a few steps back, not believing what I was seeing. Why is this happening to them, it's starting to scare me... They then began floating in the air, water and wind still swirling around them rapidly.
"You can only love one!" They both yell. I gasp and widen my eyes. At this point the wind and water was so intense that I couldn't see anything.
"Ahhhh!!" I scream as I suddenly sit up rapidly. I breath heavily and look around. I was in my bed at the camp; everyone was still sleeping soundly. "Oh. It was just a dream..." I quietly say. I lay back down and think about the dream I just had. You can only love one. Those words echo in my mind. Why would they say that? Is this some weird way my mind it telling me that I have feelings for Ara? And now......I have to decide who I love more?
I tighten my eyes closed and roll over to one side. Ok, I can't let this distract me from what our mission is. Azula needs to be stopped.
The next morning I wake up a little exhausted. My dream last night pops up in my mind, but I quickly shake it off. I look around at everyone sleeping, but one bed was empty. Ara? I stand up and walk a little ways up a near by hill. At the top I find no other but Ara. At the top, you could see all across the valley. All that plus the sunrise, it was beautiful. I reach Ara, and stand next to her. She looked like she was meditating, while using air bending; floating about 2 feet above the ground. I...never thought about doing that before. She seemed like she was doing it with such ease, and the look on her face was so peaceful.
I smile to myself. I guess.....there's some things I can learn from her. Some things...that I probably couldn't teach her myself.
Using my air bending, I join her: crossing my legs, and floating beside her. I close my eyes, still with a slight smile on my face.
Ara's POV
My eyes slowly flutter open. oh, it's morning. I sit up and rub my eyes. I look around at everyone, still asleep. Hm. I guess I'm not that surprised, it's not even sunrise yet and considering I would always get up early to help out with the yarn work and all back home............home. I hug my knees to my chest, thinking about my Mom and Pop. I hope they're doing ok.
I stand up and stretch a little. Once again I look around at everyone sleeping. Well, since it'll probably be a little while until they wake up, I might as well meditate for a little while.
