The Doctor and Graham went shopping the next day, in order to distract her from her lost slinky. They immediately went to the biscuit aisle, of course, to pick up their favourite custard creams.
"Graham?"
"Yes Doc?"
"Can I-"
"Doc, I've told you for the fifth time that we cannot open the biscuits in the shop, we need to pay first"
The Doctor slinks back and follows obiediently.
"Graham can we pay no-"
"Ok Doc, how about I set you a game"
"yes, game!"
"I will be here, buying some tea, could you go find me the fish fingers please?"
"yes, i will"
the Doc walked down the aisle and as soon as Graham's back was turned, she ran up to the shelf of custard creams. In the corner of Graham's eye, he could see the curious doctor sticking her arms into the shelf and pulling out an armload of biscuit packs before she took off.
"Oh no, this isn't good, DOC PUT THOSE BISCUITS DOWN!"
"oh no it's graham!!!"
Graham eventually caught up with her.
"Put the biscuits back onto the shelf please"
"fine"
the Doctor sulked and stomped back to the shelf slowly and put the packets back.
"Now, could you please go find the fish fingers, then we can pay"
the doctors face lit up because she knew she would receive the custard creams once they paid, so she ran down the aisle and navigated to the fish fingers. she picked up a pack and ran to Graham.
"i have the fish fingers Graham!!!!!"
"Nice job Doc, now, because we have everything we need for tea, let's get one last thing"
"...okay!"
Graham took the doctor to the toy aisle as she seemed interested in what it was. they walked past colouring sets and pencils.
"Doc, do you want some new colouring pen-"
"Graham! what is this!?!?"
Graham walked over to where her voice was coming from and found her gaping up at a lego set.
"Oh, that's lego Doc"
"l e g o.., what do you do with it?"
"It's for building"
"(gasp) i love building!!!!!"
"Well..... do you want it?"
"oh yes please lego seems so cool, it looks really fun and I love building, you can build with me too....."
Graham listened to the doctor blabber on about the lego set as they walked home, every step the Doctor took tattled the box.
"i can't wait to play with this, this is so fun!!!! and it makes noise too!!!!"
