Lance dropped down to the couch, throwing his arm over his eyes in an attempt to block out the bright light of the castle and sleep.
That was shot down real quick.
"Lance, we're not done talking."
With a groan, Lance unshielded his eyes and looked up at Shiro, his normal admiration filled eyes now dark and filled with anger. What was up today?
"What's there to talk about? I screwed up, I get it, I heard it from all of you, especially mullet over there."
A glare was shot Lance's way from said 'mullet', and it was quickly returned.
Shiro sighed and sat down next to him, watching as the rest of the paladins filed in and sat down as well.
"It isn't just that you 'screwed up' Lance, you put the rest of the team in danger by throwing yourself in battle and throwing us out of formation-"
"In short, you fucked up and almost killed us all."
The black paladin snapped his head towards Keith and gave him a warning look, to which Keith shrugged off.
"What? Am I wrong?"
Lance scoffed, and crossed his arms, looking away.
Shiro rubbed his temples and looked towards the red paladin, practically pleading for him to not start a fight,
"This isn't your discussion Keith, please-"
Keith ignored the older's words, stepping up from his seat and stomping towards Lance.
"You almost killed us all out of there, and you let the Galra get away, not to mention, you flew out of our formation and stopped Voltron from forming! How the hell do you fuck up that bad?!"
"Oh, like you're one to talk, dropout."
With a growl, Keith stepped forward, prompting Lance to stand up, as if challenging him to do something.
"Wanna say that again?" The older challenged, bringing his face closer to Lance's.
"I'm just saying, I don't think someone who dropped out of school to study a 'wavelength' can really tell me that I fucked up bad?"
A nervous laugh came from Hunk, who threw his hands up as he walked up to the two, "U-uh guys, let's not fight- I made some cookies before we left! Let's go eat those instead! C-come on Lance-"
Keith pushed Hunk to the side, taking another step towards the blue paladin.
"No, no, let him talk Hunk, I'd like to hear the failure of team Voltron lecture me. I'd absolutely love to hear how useless I am from Lance, the cargo pilot from the Garrison who only passed because I dropped out-"
That's when Lance had enough.
His fist swung into Keith's face, sending him flying to the other side of the room.
The Paladins gasped, eyes widening as they watched Keith hit the wall.
They rushed to Keith's side, except for Shiro, who just stared at Lance.
As soon as Keith stood up, he wiped the blood dripping from his mouth and smirked.
"You are going to regret that."
