NINETEEN;
Guzman
"So you were avoiding both Nano and Samuel."Concluded Cristina as she nodded her head visibly skeptical before giving a look at the arrogant blond.
"I didn't go near them." Guzmàn replied, nodding his head with a casual grin clearly unaffected by the disappearance of the trio. Even for Triana. Which was worrying to be honest."I didn't want to catch anything from them."
Cristina narrowed her lips before giving him a new skeptical look."And you don't know anything about either of their whereabouts?"
"Nor do I care."Guzmàn replied with a pretentious little smile on his lips.
"And Triana. You don't care too?"Cristina replied immediately with her clenched jaw.
The blonde's casual attitude seemed to change somewhat as he readjusted himself in his chair, losing his smile. He swallowed as he rubbed his thumb over his crossed hands.
"Triana has nothing to do with these two."Guzmàn said coldly."She's been out of the group for a while now."
"What do you mean by that ?"Cristina asked immediately, confused.
"You know what I mean. She hung out with shady guys. She even cheated on Ander. She hasn't been herself for the past few months."Guzmàn explained, shrugging his shoulders."And she always made sure to stay away from me."
"Why ?"
Guzmàn looked away before letting a sigh pass his lips."At first I thought she was afraid of me but she was detached from everyone. And then she didn't seem to have much trouble defending herself when she threw herself on Luz."
"Do you have any idea why they fought?"
Guzmàn immediately left a scoff with a smirk."For what reason do you think?"
"Ander."Cristina nodded knowingly before giving another suspicious look at the blonde."So you and Triana didn't talk to each other during the gala. Not even once? Or even after?"
Guzmàn shook his head negatively before giving a nonchalant look at the redhead becoming more and more agitated by the lack of information on the whereabouts of her goddaughter. She knew that the young teenager in front of her had something to do with the disappearance of Samuel. But she wasn't so sure about Triana. No, her instinct led her on a much darker path.
"I don't know what you're looking for but you better dig on the side of Izadora and her brother."Guzmàn advised with slight animosity."You know what it is. My sister paid the price. And there is a good chance that Triana ended up like her. I kept telling you that this riffraff would only bring problems. No one wanted to listen to me and now you have a second disappearance to deal with."
Cristina straightened up clearly annoyed by his cheeky little tone before clenching her jaw.
"Are we done yet? "
"No." Cristina immediately objected as she took the tablet to show him the last recorded satellite positions of Samuel and Triana."This is the point where Samuel disappeared. But the last indication of him being alive was here. The last time his cell phone was active. As for Triana, the last sign of her is about ten kilometers from Samuel's last position. Just here. Do you recognize the area?"
Guzmàn made a slight uncertain grin as he mumbles."Maybe ... Hmm."
"Your grandparents have a country house." Cristina recalled in exasperation now."That's where Marina's ashes are buried. What was Samuel and Triana doing around there?"
"Well... Hmm... He could have been delivering lemon chicken. How should I know?"
Cristina put the tablet down, pressing her elbows on the table before crossing her hands to restrain herself in exasperation."Samuel wasn't working that night. What about Triana?"
