"Well, hello, Triana."

Triana paused in the hallway of the Muñoz lounge when Azucena called before leaning in the hallway to greet her."Hi. How are you doing?"

"Good. It hasn't really changed since this morning you know."Chuckled Azucena at the distracted expression of the brunette.

Triana winced slightly with a slight pink color along her cheeks."Right. Sorry. You must be tired of seeing me at your place all the time."

"Not really. To tell the truth, I believe that you're the only thing that allowed Ander to survive this summer."The redhead replied honestly as she put her book on her thighs with a hint of nostalgia in her tone."With the divorce and everything that happened at the end of the year."

Triana immediately looked away at the reminder before clenching her tense jaw."Yeah, it was hard for a lot of people."

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, Trini. I didn't want to-" Azucena got up to join her in worry before giving her a contrite look."I know you and Marina were friends."

"Yeah, we were." Triana cleared her throat immediately before taking a deep breath as she straightened in haste "Um ... is Ander in his room?"

Azucena wrinkled her lips at the visible discomfort on her face before nodding."He probably has to wait for you."

Triana nodded in turn before heading for the stairs. She could feel Azucena's gaze on her back as she climbed up. She immediately crossed her arms over her chest as she could again feel the weight of guilt along her shoulders.

The past two months had been hell.

However, Ander's presence had lightened her mind. It was the only way she had found to continue living with what she knew. And yet she could see that her relationship was no longer the same with Ander. Especially after that famous day in her room.

Sometimes she found herself immersed in her thoughts and she could feel his gaze on her. He had a way of talking to her at those times. It was like he expected her to crack anytime. He put that on Marina's death but the truth was much darker.

No matter how much she had tried to tell him, the words were stuck in her throat.

And in a way Triana was convinced that it was good for Ander. After the divorce between his parents, he also had a lot on his plate. She couldn't afford to dump her problems on him. She loved him too much to force him into such a situation.

She could barely hold it like it is.

It was useless that they became miserable together.

It was not long before she crossed the corridor leading to Ander's room. A slight rap music came from the half-open room leaving Triana leaning against the half-open with her arms crossed over her chest. A slight smile soon appeared on her lips as she saw Ander sitting on the window sill with a cigarette in his hand. She tilted her head against the door as she caught in his sculpted jaw. She chewed on her lower lip as she could already feel this familiar attraction down her belly.
