(3rd person)
The quarantine had been in state for a few weeks when Thalia and Reyna tried to facetime the older couple. It was 3 years after the war so they were at home. Artemis sent all hunters to homes at both Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter. Now they were just waiting for Apollo to help lower the number of cases.
Surprisingly it was Zoë who seemed to understand the technology best. She quickly swiped to answer them.
"HI ZOE" Screamed Thalia who was too full of energy, nearly shattering Reyna's eardrum earning a slap to the shoulder and a terrifying glare. To which Thalia just kissed her cheek and grinned.
"Hello to you too loudmouth. How are you Reyna?" Asked Zoë, smiling fondly at the younger couple.
"Hey! What about me?" Glared Thalia
"I'm more worried about Reyna trying to kill you for being so annoying" Zoë grinned when Thalia gave a pout, causing her and Reyna to laugh. Reyna quickly kissed away the pout.
"Were doing ok. Going on long walks with the dogs and making sure the campers are safe and healthy. What about you and your fireball? Are you ready to kill her yet?" Asked Reyna
"Were good here. The fireballs asleep right now. Hold on a second" Zoë quickly got up and walked to their bedroom where a mess of red hair poked out in a loose braid from under the comforter.
"Artemis, Reyna and Thalia are on the phone. You need to get up" She said kissing the redhead's hairline and brushing the stray hairs out of her face. Sleepy silver eyes met loving brown ones, making the goddess grin sleepy.
Reyna and Thalia watched with smiles on their faces. Zoë's effect on Artemis was honestly unreal. When Hades heard of how Reyna protected Nico, he granted her a favor which was very unlike him but none the less. Reyna and Thalia agreed, bringing Zoë back would not only help Artemis cope with the loss of so many hunters in battle but also the hunters themselves, with her leadership and bravery.
They remember when Artemis meet Zoë for the first or second time.
(FLASHBACK TIME BABY)
Artemis was shooting arrows alone in the woods when Thalia and Reyna approached with Zoë hidden behind them.
She shot another bullseye before turning around to look at them.
"Hey, Arty wassup" Thalia grinned giving the goddess finger guns, making Reyna and Artemis roll their eyes.
"Nothing new right now Thalia, what about you?" She replied
"Well we found someone who we think you'd like to meet." Reyna smiled
"Oh! Another recruit? Where did you find her?" She asked curiously.
"Not quite there Arty" Thalia said sidestepping to show Zoë
"Then wh- No!" She screamed shocking Reyna and Thalia.
"No, no, no, your not real!' Zoë stepped closer
'your not real' another step
'I watched you die I held your dead body!" She screamed as Zoë was an arms-length away. Artemis was in tears now. She'd had this dream before. Zoë would be there the die some horrible way before she woke up.
"This isn't real" She choked out when Zoë brought up a hand to cup the goddess' face. She wiped the tears that had called touching foreheads now.
"I'm here" She whispered pulling the goddess into a tight hug, burying her face in the shorter girl. Artemis quickly reacted hugging back tightly almost by reflex. She cried lightly into Zoë's shoulder while Zoë kissed her head gently swaying back and forth.
"I'm here"

Since then Artemis smiled more. Her eyes were softer. She seemed younger and happier. Others noticed the way her eyes lit up when Zoë was near like they were right now.
"Hi' Artemis yawned out 'who's calling"
"Reyna and Thalia are on facetime, say Hi love" Zoë said showing the screen to Artemis. The younger couple waved hello when The goddess's eyes grew wide.
"THALIA! REYNA! WHY ARE YOU TRAPPED IN THE PHONE?!"
