(Zoë)
Waking up early wasn't unusual for Zoë. She had to everyday to get ready before the other hunters.
But waking up to someone coming into her tent at what couldn't be more than 3 in the morning wasn't normal.
She had heard of stories, others getting killed in the night by jealous hunters or monsters.
Grabbing the dagger she hid under her pillow she still pretended to be asleep.
The figure came closer.
"Hey Z-"
Zoë moved quickly, swiping the intruder off their feet, pinning them to the ground.
She pressed her blade to their neck, not enough to draw blood but easy to if necessary.
"Ok maybe coming in unannounced wasn't the best idea..." She knew that voice.
"ARTEMIS?" So many questions went through her head.
"H-hey there?" The redhead said with an awkward grin. Zoë's eyes narrowed.
"Hey there. What are you doing in my tent?" Artemis laughed breathlessly.
"I-uh-I just wanted to uh see if you... were sleeping well? Yeah, are you sleeping ok?"
Sleeping well? Zoë looked closer to the goddesses face, heavy bags sat under her eyes. How had she not seen this before.
Taking her knife off her neck Zoë sat back on Artemis lap instead of on her chest letting her sit up.
"Yes Artemis I've been sleeping fine, have you?"
"I-um no not really." The exhausted girl hung her head.
"So why did you really come here?"
"I just-I sleep, better with you? I don't know but when you're closer it's easier to let my guard down with you?"
"So you came into my room randomly at 3 in the morning to sleep with me?" Artemis flushed. Dropping her head to Zoë's shoulder hugging her gently.
"N-no not like that I just-"
"I'm kidding you cuddle thief, let's go to bed."
Climbing onto the bed Artemis quickly laid her on Zoë's chest, slowly releasing the tension in her.
"You know I could have killed you right? You risked your life to cuddle with me?" Artemis smiled.
"Yeah, and I'd do it again"
