Troye holds hands with Jacob and Bailey as the three of them walk towards the playground.

Arriving, Bailey runs off toward the swings.

Troye follows her and starts pushing her carefully while Jacob sits on the bench near by.

Jacob has been sorta distant the last week.

Every time Troye tries to talk to him about it, he insists that he's fine and nothing was bothering him, but it was quite obvious that something was making him nervous.

The blond boy sees him look down and cross his arms.

He looked like he was thinking.

Troye stares at him before Bailey shakes him out of his thoughts.

"Daddy, what's wrong with Jakie?"

"Huh? What do you mean, baby?"

"He's been quiet a lot at daycare. He stares off into space a lot. Oh! And sometimes he'll stop staring into space and get really excited and write in a notebook."

"A notebook?"

"Yeah!"

"Oh. I'm not sure, sweetie. I'll try talking to-"

He stops speaking, seeing Jacob get excited and pull out his phone before quickly typing something in.

He slides his phone back in his pocket before looking up at the other two with a smile.

Troye smiles back slightly before hearing Bailey whine about not being pushed anymore.

Not realizing he had stopped, Troye  begins pushing her again as Josh walks over to them.

After putting Bailey to bed, Jacob and Troye decide to watch a movie.

Laughing at one of the scenes, Troye looks at Jacob out of habit to see that he wasn't even paying attention to the film.

Troye loses his smile and nudges him gently.

Jacob looks at him, "What's wrong?"

He gestures toward the television, "You're not watching."

"Sorry, I was just thinking. I'm watching now."

Troye sighs but turns back to the movie.

After catching Jacob staring at the carpet once more, Troye rolls his eyes and grab the remote to pause the movie.

He sits up on the couch facing him and crosses his arms, beginning to get irritated with him for being distance and not talking.

Especially during a time they finally got to be alone together.

After a moment, Jacob looks at him without saying anything.

Troye raises his eyebrows expectantly.

"What?" he asks quietly.

The blond holds his arm out and points at the TV showing the paused scene of the movie.

He looks at the movie before looking back at Troye with a face of realization,

"Baby-"

"What's going on?" Troye demands. "You've been so distant this passed week. You hardly talk to me anymore and when we finally get time alone together you stare at the floor."

"I'm sorry-"

"You won't talk to me. Is something going on? Did something happen? We've been dating for a year and a half and we've always told each other everything; good or bad. Why are you all of a sudden shutting me out?"

"Troye-"

"Is it me?"

"No, baby. It's not-"

"Did I do something? Did I say something to piss you off and you just don't want to tell me or hurt me or some-"

"Shut up, Troye," Jacob snaps.

Troye shuts his mouth, waiting for Jacob to speak again.

He sighs, rubbing the back of his neck before looking at the younger.

"Fuck," he mutters.

Standing up, clear anxiousness in his movements, he shakes his hands and runs his fingers through his bright hair.

Troye sits quietly, suddenly getting scared.

Was he going to break up with him?

He did do something, didn't he?

"I was planning something."

Troye looks up at him, confused.

"Planning what?"

"Something. For you. Well... us, I guess? I don't really know how to say it, but the point is, it's making me anxious and I really want it to be nice and for it to be nice, it needs to be perfect and for it to be perfect, I need to plan ahead for a lot of things and I've been trying to come up with some ideas and-"

"Jacob, Jacob, slow down. You're talking too fast. What are you planning? If it's making you this anxious, why are you putting yourself through that? And for me especially?"

Standing up off the couch, Troye walks over to his nervous boyfriend and carefully wraps his arms around his waist.

"You know it doesn't take much to please me, you don't have to go all-out. I mean yeah, I love everything you do for me, I love seeing what you come up with, but I'm perfectly fine with just a movie and cuddling. I've been looking forward to tonight for two weeks cause I had the night off finally in a long time. It's nothing big, but I wouldn't change it for the world because I get to spend time with you."

Wrapping his arms around the blond, Jacob leans down slightly, resting his forehead against Troye's.

"I love you," he mumbles before pecking my lips softly.

"I love you too. Now, what are you planning? I wanna help. I don't like when you're anxious."

He sighs, "I can't...I can't tell you."

"Jacob, please," Troye sighs quietly. "I'll love it no matter what. I know I-"

"Will you marry me?"
