Yoonjin's POV

" Yoonjin? Jin? Yoon? " Ayeon nudged me and I came back to reality. Today is the day that i'm going to officially, break up with Jaehyun.

For the last few weeks, I've been avoiding him as much as I could and I gave him short replies to show him my disinterest.

When in fact, I want to talk to him so much.

Ayeon looked at me with a face full of concern, " Are you okay? You don't seem well at all. Let me get Jae-" I held onto her wrist.

" I'm breaking up with him. " I said and her eyes widened. Ayeon was really shocked but she should  have seen this coming.

I explained to Ayeon everything but she doesn't think I should break up with him, instead we should work together to prove to Taeyong but I can't take that risk.

I know how Taeyong is like, I know he wouldn't like Jaehyun. " Hello ladies. " Ayeon turned around with a wide grin, if you didn't already guessed it, the voice belong to Johnny.

" Yoonjin. " I rolled my hands into a fist as I turned to look at Jaehyun with an emotionless expression.

I didn't say hi, neither did I show any skinship. I just know, this is what I need to do and that is to avoid him at all cause, even if it means him hating on me.

Out of a sudden, Jaehyun grabbed my wrist and dragged me somewhere. I didn't really know where we were going but after a while, I know where he brought me to.

Near the basketball court, there's a bench where rarely anyone even sits there. " What do you want? " I yanked his hand away.

He turned around as he stared at me, " Lee Yoonjin, what's wrong with you these days? Whenever I message you, you either last seen or give short replies. Whenever I see you, you would walk the opposite way. "

" Can't you see it? " I asked as I held in my tears.

" I'm breaking up with you. I lost feelings for you. " I said and tears welled up in his eyes. He held both of my hands as he stared into my eyes.

He shook his head, " Tell me you're lying and this is all a joke. Please. " He begged me and I yanked his hands away and I walked off.

" I will wait for you, no matter how long it takes. " I heard him said as tears rolled down my cheeks.

I'm sorry.

This is for the best.

Jaehyun's POV

I didn't go to class for the whole day and I switched off my phone. I wanted to be alone for now, to let everything out.

I thought Yoonjin and I would last, I thought we were different but I guess not. I thought I'm gonna be her husband but now i'm just her ex.

" Lee Yoonjin! " I screamed at the top of my lungs. I hope she would appear and tell me it's all just a joke, we've only dated for half a year but she's everything to me.

I know many people said, relationships at our age aren't going to last but I thought it would and I wish it would.

I walked home and I saw Jieun waiting at the gates of our house. " Jung Jaehyun! " She screamed as she ran over to me.

" I thought you went missing! The teachers called to say that you weren't in school today. What happened? " I shook my head as I walked passed her.

Now isn't the right time to talk, I didn't want to talk. I just want to be alone for the time being. I walked up to the rooftop and just sat there.

I took out my phone and started to scroll through messages between me and Yoonjin. It just made me question, is all these time a lie?

Tears started rolling down my cheeks.

I know guys shouldn't cry but who says we can't cry?

Taeyong's POV

I walked up the stairs and was about to go to my room when I heard sniffing sound coming from Yoonjin's room. I walked over and was about to knock the door when Donghyuck stopped me.

He dragged me away, " Are you dumb? She's crying and you're going inside. You're probably going to end up having a fight with her again. "

I furrowed my brows, " What did Jung Jaehyun do? " He rolled his eyes as he let out a long, loud sigh.

" She broke up with Jaehyun because of you. She knows you're against it and you'll probably beat Jaehyun up again. " When Donghyuck said that, I felt bad but it's the most ideal situation.

Donghyuck nudged me, " Don't you think maybe you should try talking it out with Jaehyun? From what Yoonjin said, it was all a misunderstanding. " I scoffed.

" No. I'm not going to speak to him. " I said as I went into my room. I went to my bed and started to text my friends, asking them for information about Jaehyun.

Many of them said he's really nice but it's probably a not credible. I groaned as I placed my arm on my forehead, and I let out a long sigh.

I know Yoonjin likes Jaehyun but as an older brother ,don't you guys think what i'm doing is right? I'm just doing my job as an older brother to protect his little sister.

It's not a pretty sight to see my little sister suffering because of being heart broken but I know, I'd rather she leave him for a better guy.

I closed my eyes and was about to fall into a deep sleep when my phone vibrated.

I squinted my eyes to see the text.

" We need to talk. Pick a date and a place. "

omg college life is so stressful? like the people are nice but they released the project questions not long ago, like end of last week and it's all due in a few weeks D:
