Beauty From Pain (Melody x Silver)

Why do I have to be alone unlike other people in this world? I just don't understand. I don't even know why I'm thinking about something like this. She thought upset.

The lights go out all around me

Melody was sitting there alone in her house in the dark. She was on her couch doing nothing and desperately wanted to.

One last candle to keep out the night

And then the darkness surrounds me

Silver was looking for Melody. He had something he needed to tell her.

I know I'm alive

But I feel like I've died

She tried hard not to think about it and think more of something else. She put her head in her hands in thought.

And all that's left is to accept that it's over

Silver went to her house to see if she was there and knocked on the door.

My dreams ran like sand through the fists that I made

She heard the knock on the door and quietly said, "Come in," still thinking.

I try to keep warm, but I just grow colder

Silver comes in and sees her on the couch. "Hey Melody! How are you?"

I feel like I'm slipping away

She looks up at him and sighs. "I'm fine, Silver," she said hopefully to get him to leave her alone at the moment.

After all this has passed

Silver saw right through that and sighed. "What's wrong, Melody?"

I still will remain

She sighed. "It's nothing, Silver."

After I cried my last

Silver walked over to her. "What is it?"

There'll be beauty from pain

Melody looked away from him. "It's really nothing."

Though it won't be today

Silver sat next to her and asked again. "If you don't tell me it will make it worse..."

Someday I'll hope again

She sighed in defeat. "I just wish that I had someone to care about."

And there'll be beauty from pain

Silver looks over at her. "You have your friends."

You will bring beauty from my pain

She looked at him. "I know that but I meant more than a friend..."

My whole world is the pain inside me

Silver blushed lightly. "Oh... you meant like that."

The best I can do is just get through the day

I wonder if I should tell her... Silver thought.

When life before is only a memory

She nodded slightly and sighed.

I wonder why God lets me walk through this place

"I might know someone who likes you..." Silver said.

And though I can't understand why this happened

She immediately brightened up. "Really?! Who?!"

I know that I will when I look back someday

Silver blushed and held her hand slightly.

And see how You've brought beauty from ashes

Melody blushed lightly and looked at him.

And made me as gold purified through these flames

"M-me..." Silver said.

After all this has passed

"R-really?!" Melody asked surprised.

I still will remain

Silver nodded and kissed her lightly.

After I cried my last

Melody blushed harder and kissed back.

Silver pulled away and looked at her.

Though it won't be today

"I love you too, Silver, but why did you wait so long to tell me?"

Someday I'll hope again

And there'll be beauty from pain

"I thought you would hate me if I told you..." Sliver admitted sadly.

Trying to hold to what I can't see

Melody giggled. "I would never do that, Silver."

I forgot how to hope

This night's been so long

I cling to your promise there will be a dawn

Silver smiled and hugged her tightly.

After all this has passed

I still will remain

After I cried my last

Melody hugged him back and cuddled her new love.

"Will you be my girlfriend, Melody?"

Melody smiled big. "Of course I will!" She said and kissed him again.
