Colors and promises

I was sitting at home bored. It was my day off today from G.U.N. and I had nothing to do. I wanted to hang out with someone, but I could only think of hanging out with Saphie. I slowly started thinking about Saphie for a while.

How to be brave?

How can I love when I'm afraid to fall?

Once I stopped, I sighed a little in sadness. I would love nothing more than to be closer to her beyond friendship. Unfortunately though it's been this way for a while and I hate it so much. I got an idea to maybe make this become a thing of the future. I smiled and picked up my phone, dialing her number and listening to it ring.

But watching you stand alone,

All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow

There was a quick answer instantly. "Hello?"

"Hey, Saphie."

"Hey, Shads! What have you been up to today?"

"Not much. How about you?"

"Same. Just super bored at the moment."

I smiled more. "Hey if it's no trouble can you come over? It's a little important."

"Uh yeah, sure, Shadow! See you there in a little bit, bye"

Thanks, bye!"

We both hung up. I smiled and then went over the plan in my head. It had to go perfectly or else I probably wouldn't be able to bare it.

I heard a soft knock come from the door. "It's open!"

Saphie lakes inside and waved. "Hey, Shadow!"

"Hey! Come over here," I motioned to a spot on the couch next to me. She nodded and quietly sat down next to me.

"So what is it that you needed to tell me?"

I breathed a little bit in nervousness and grabbed her hand gently. She looked at me cutely and tilted her head a little bit to the side I'm confusion. "Hm? What is it, Shadow?"

She looked at me in surprise. "W-wha...?"

I looked down embarrassed and bit my lip nervously.

"Do you really mean that, Shadow?"

I nodded very slightly, but it was noticeable enough for anyone. She smiled happily and blushed a tiny bit.

"How long exactly?"

"A-about a year I believe."

She hugged me tightly which surprised me and I blushed just very faintly. I slowly hugged her back, enjoying the warm embrace. I cuddled her gently finally feeling happiness again. She purred ever so quietly which I didn't expect.

I pulled away from the hug and looked at her slowly. I let a small smile overcome my features. She looked into my eyes innocently and smiled like she always does.

I slowly leaned closer to her and kissed her softly. She kissed back eagerly and I pulled her closer by her waist. She moaned very lightly and I pulled away looking at her. She looked back at me taking in the moment we just had.
