A Special Mission (Amelia x Shadow)

Shadow was sitting around at his house bored. He was laying down on the couch when his phone rang. He pulls it out of his pocket and answers it.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Shads!" Amelia said smiling.

"Hey, Amelia, how are you?" He brightens up a little.

"I'm fine," she giggles slightly.

"Well then, what do you want?"

"I just wanted you to come and hang out," she twirls one of her black and pink bangs.

"I will since I have nothing better to do," he says and sits up.

"Okay. Meet me in the park."

"Okay. Bye, Amelia!"

"Bye, Shads!" They both hang up.

Shadow smiles a little. Maybe I should tell her soon... he thinks and goes to the park.

Amelia is sitting on a bench waiting for Shadow.

Shadow walks over to her and sits down smiling.

She looks over at him. "Hey."

"Hi. How are you?"

"I'm fine. What about you?"

"I'm bored but good," he sighs. "What do you want to do?"

"Well how abo-" the sound of static interrupts her.

Shadow looks at his communicator and speaks into it. "Shadow here."

"Shadow we need you and Amelia to report here for a special mission."

Shadow groans. "What is it?"

"It's something really important."

He sighs and speaks lightly. "We'll be there soon." He signs off and turns to her. "We have a mission."

Amelia giggles slightly and nods getting up. Shadow follows suit and sighs again feeling like he needs to apologize. "Sorry about this."

"Its okay but why'd you apologize?"

"I just felt like I needed to."

She nods suspiciously and grabs his arm and starts walking. He blushes faintly and follows her with her not noticing his blush.

~At the H.Q.~

Shadow and Amelia walk in and see the Commander.

"Hello Agents."

"What do we need to do Commander?"

"I need you for a stealth mission," he says.

Amelia nods. "What are we doing?"

"There's a top secret document that I need."

"Why do you need it?" Shadow asks.

"Just hurry. There's no time for questions."

They nod and walk to the door. "We'll get it, Commander," Amelia says and they left.

~At the designated building~

Shadow looks around then turns to Amelia and nods to her. She goes closer to the building and looks at the door. She looks at Shadow and signals him over with her hand. He goes to the door and picks the lock and they go inside.

They enter a hallway and stay close to the wall. Shadow sees cameras and tells Amelia to stay behind him. She nods a little confused. Why is he protecting me? She thinks as they sneak passed the cameras and guards. Shadow picks the lock of another door while Amelia looks for guards.

He opens the door and they walk inside and see the document in a little clear box on a pedestal. Shadow nods. "Do you have the fake one?" Amelia nods and hands him the fake document. She's always so prepared...

"Lift the box up while I switch them then put it back." She nods and lifts the box up. Shadow switches the documents quickly and Amelia puts the box down and accidentally hits something.

"Damn!" Shadow grabs her hand tight and guards turn around and start chasing them. Amelia scratches her leg on something while they're running, but keeps on going. They soon get cornered and Shadow grabs Amelia's hand and uses Chaos Control. They teleport to H. Q. where the Commander is waiting.

"Hello Agents." Shadow lets go of her hand and hands him the document. "Great work. I might just pair you two up more often in future missions."

"I look forward to it sir," Amelia says.

The Commander dismisses them and they leave.

"I had fun with you even though we almost got caught."

"Me too, Amelia," Shadow says.

Amelia starts humming a song and yelps when her leg starts burning.

"Are you okay, Amelia?"

"I scratched my leg earlier during the mission."

Shadow looks sad. "It's my fault you're hurt."

"No it's not, Shadow," she kisses his cheek gently. He blushes and looks away slightly. Shadow and Amelia are quiet for a short time.

Shadow sighs. "Amelia?"

Amelia looks at him. "Yeah?"

"I have something to tell you."

"What is it?"

Shadow wraps an arm around her. "I... L-like you."

She blushes. "R-really?"

Shadow nods and kisses her softly. She blushes and kisses back. He pulls away and holds her close.

Amelia smiles big. "I like you too, Shadow."

Shadow smiles and kisses her again. "I'll take you home if you want."

"I'd like that a lot," she smiles. He picks her up and runs off to her house.

A/N: Sorry I haven't updated this book aside from the one note. I've just been SUPER SUPER lazy the past 3 months and I will update the other requests as soon as I get more ideas for them. Till then:
