It's the next day and all 4 of the high schoolers are in the hospital, y/n woke up to hear a conversation going on between the three of the boys.

"he was actually trying to murder you but you stood tall," she could hear Todoroki's monotone voice as she rubbed her eyes, she assumed he was talking to iida.

"jeez what time is it," y/n said with a groggy voice. Before she could get a reply, the door to their room opened, reveal Pro Heros Manual and Gran Torino.

"so the injured youngins are awake," the old one said as y/n moved her hair out of her face and yawned.

"gran Torino!"

"and manual too..."

Old dude turned to Midoriya, "Idiot. I could yell at you for hours right now"

"Yeah, I'm sorry..." Midoriya said solemnly.

"but before I do you've got a visitor," gran Torino said, turning his head to the door where you could see an actual DOGMAN come through the door, "this is Hosu's chief of police, Kenji Tsuragamae."

Everyone got up to bow until he said "no, stay seated. Woof"

'woof?'

"so you're the four U.A. students who brought down the hero killer huh?"

"We are," y/n turned to see todoroki deep in thought, and noticed the other two boys looked very confused.

'they must not realize we committed a crime when we used our quirks'

"Stain had some serious injuries," the chief continues, "severe burns and several broken bones, not to mention a punctured lung. Right now he's in the hospital under strict guard woof."

y/n mumbled "sorry" before the chief continued.

"here's a lesson you should've already learned. When quirks became the norm, the police sought to maintain the status quo. They decided we wouldn't use quirks as weapons; that's when heroes came in, they could do what we couldn't, if they were licensed of course woof."

"... yadda... That's why it's against the law for uncertified people to use their quirks to cause injury. Whether you were up against the Hero Killer or not, none of you had the authority to harm the villain. That means the four of you, and your supervisors, endeavor, manual, and Gran Torino, should receive a harsh punishment for this gross abuse of your quirks."

Y/n could see todoroki getting mad, "no wait a minute, if iida hadn't stepped in native would've been murdered, and if not for midoriya, both of them would be dead. No one else even realized stain was in Hosu. Are you saying we should've just stood by and watched people die?"

"todoroki-kun calm down, we still broke the law," y/n said as Midoriya tried to calm him down.

The chief then got an intense look, "so it's okay to break the law as long as it goes your way?"

Todoroki got a little madder, "but sir, isn't it a heroes job to save people?"

"This is why you four aren't gull-fledged pros yet, it's obvious u.a. and endeavor haven't been teaching you near enough. What a shame," the man simply answered.

"you damn MUTT," todoroki then started walking toward the chief angrily which is when y/n used her quirk to push him back onto his bed and iida butted in "todoroki listen he's right"

"Just listen to what he has to say todoroki-kun," y/n said as she released him from her telekinetic hold.

"What I've said is the official stance of the police department. But any punishment would only be necessary if this went public. If it did, you'd probably be applauded by citizens everywhere, but there's no way you could escape from being reprimanded. On the other hand, we could say Endeavor saved the day, stains burns would support this story and we could pretend you weren't involved woof. Thankfully, there were few witnesses. This could be the last you hear of any punishments, it would mean no one knew about you though, you'd receive no acclaim at all. The choice is yours. Personally, I know where I stand, I don't wanna damage any promising young careers, not for a mistake like this," the chief finished after what felt like an hour.
