Class 1-A and class 1-B met outside for the 'test of courage' and listened to the instructions. They then drew for their teams, y/n ended up getting paired with Uraraka and Asui, how she got two, nobody knows, but nobody cared.

The class was chaos until Pixiebob announced that they couldn't switch.

Groups started getting sent off, and before the three girls left, y/n walked over to Todoroki, "hey todoroki-kun, I need to tell you something about Katsuki..."

Turning to face her, he scrunched his eyebrows in confusion, "what do you need to tell me?"

"Well he can't hear," she said very bluntly.

"Im sorry what?" he said even more confused.

"his quirk, he has difficulty hearing sometimes when he overdose it so the training has caused him some trouble for right now, I've been working with him on sign language but I'm not really partnered with him, so if you try and talk to him he's not gonna hear you..." she said a quietly, so the others wouldn't hear.

"so that's why you said he wasn't in a talkative mood earlier huh?" he said, his face relaxing from the confusion that was previously painted on it.

"yeah but... dont tell anyone, it's a bit touchy for him, I just wanted to let you know so you didn't get made if he ignored you."

Teams then went as they went and suddenly it was Ochaco, Tsu, and Y/n's turn. Walking through, the group stood fairly close together.

"I'm getting scared," Ochaco whispered with a light whine lacing her voice, "and those screams aren't helping..."

"That's kyoka and toru I think," tsu said, "here take my hand." Tsu then grabbed Ochaco's hand and y/n moved to the back.

"y/n-chan are you not scared?" tsu questioned, looking back at her.

"hm well, I guess just a little, but after hosu I guess it's a bit harder to scare me..."

"oh that's good I guess... what exactly happened in hosu?" ochaco questioned, trying to keep her mind off of their classmates screams.

After announcements from Mandalay saying that the target was kacchan and allowing combat, the girls were attack and ochaco was cut, y/n turned to see the attacker and gasped, tears immediately filling her eyes.

"ochaco, is your arm okay?" asui asked, concerned.

"yeah I'm fine, just a scratch," uraraka answered.

"o-onesan himiko?" y/n stuttered out as she choked on tears.

"hm. shallow, not much blood," she muttered before turning to y/n, "n/n, I missed you," she, smiling.

"What kind of person slashes people out of nowhere? Just who do you think you are?" tsu said getting mad.

"y/n-chan you know this villain?" ochaco said confused as she stared at a crying y/n.

"yeah she's my best friend," y/n said as she wiped tears from her eyes.

"I'm toga!" himiko perked up, "jeez, you two are super cute just like n/n, Uraraka and Asui," she said as she waved her knife around.
