Y/n skipped on over to the class 1-A seating section and smiled to herself as she sat down. She wasn't expecting the match to go that well or last that long.

(a/n: just pretend it lasted like 2 hours or something idk I can't write for that long)

"L/n-chan you did amazing against Kacchan! I've never seen anyone last that long in a fight with him."

"hehe, his mom said the same thing awhile ago..."

He kinda looked shocked "ehhh when did you meet auntie mistuki?!?!!"

"Oh I trained with Bakugou for the sports festival, honestly I'm pretty sure it's the only reason we lasted that long, hey do you think Todoroki is donna use his flames with Bakugou?"

"um I'm not sure, but the match is about to start"

The fight started, and almost immediately Bakugou was buried in ice, but he blasted his way out, y/n could see him yelling something at Todoroki as he dodged his attacks, which means that he's hearing again. Wait how long has he been able to hear.

Midoriya ended up yelling support an Todoroki burst into flames, making Bakugou visibly happy but as he attacked Todoroki with a huge blow Todoroki got rid of his fire. Todoroki was out of bounds and KO'd and Bakugou got mad so Midnight had to use her gas.

"Todoroki is out of bounds. That means Bakugou is the winner!"

"And with that, the final match is officially over! The first-year champion of the UA sports festival is Katsuki Bakugou from class 1-A!"

It was then time for the awards ceremony, there were fireworks and then Todoroki, Bakugou, and Y/n were risen from the ground on their podiums. Y/n looked over at Bakugou who was going nuts, she had tried to calm him down but it didn't work so he was chained up.

"Tenya Iida actually shares the third place award with l/n, but unfortunately he had to leave for family reasons. Gotta love those familial bonds."

Y/n looked around, feeling bad that she was the only one on the 3rd place podium, she remembered Iida walking out halfway through the final fight.

"Now, let's break out the hardware! Of course, there's only one person worthy of distributing the awards-"

Everyone heard all might laughing and they cheered.

"Citizens! I am here with the medals" he shouted as he landed on the ground in front of the podium.

He started the presentation, going to y/n first. "haha, young l/n, congratulations. you showed great strength out there." he said as he put the medal around y/n's neck, "however, you've got plenty of training to do with that new power you've realized you have, fire can be tricky," he hugged her, talking about the pyrokinesis she used earlier, she nodded as he went over to Todoroki.

She didn't listen to that conversation, but then he went over to Bakugou. "Youre true to your word!" is all he said as he took off the literal muzzle when Bakugou started to growl "all might... winning first place this way doesn't prove that I'm the best one here EVEN IF THE WORLD CONSIDERS ME THE WINNER I REFUSE TO ACCEPT IT LIKE THIS"

"uhm- in a world where we are constantly being compared to one another there are very few who can keep their eyes focused on the top spot, you're one of them, please accept this medal even if you have to think of it as a scar, something you'll never forget"

Bakugou started arguing "I don't want that piece of garbage," when y/n smacked him and he stared at her in disbelief, but so did their entire class, y/n isn't ever violent outside of class training and the festival fights.
