Josuke knocked on the door to his house.

"One second!" Both boys heard a feminine voice call out from inside.

A good 30 seconds later, Tomoko answered the door, smiling. "Is Okuyasu staying for dinner?" She asked.

"Oh, could he stay the night here? Like, a sleepover.." Josuke said in inquiry, throwing his arm over his best friend's shoulder.

"Oh, sure." Tomoko nodded, stepping back to let the boys in. "I'm making rice and fish for dinner. It'll be ready in about 4 hours." She called out to Josuke and Okuyasu as they made their way up the stairs. "Okay, mom!" Josuke yelled back as him and his friend walked into his room.

"What'cha wanna talk about, Okuyasu?" Josuke said, plopping down on his bed.

"Did you like the flowers?" Okuyasu rasped, smiling. "Oh! Yeah. They were really pretty."

Okuyasu nodded. "It wasn't really my idea, it was Koichi's. I just went out to buy them."

"I see." Josuke looked down, still feeling a bit unsettled after reading the manga with Okuyasu. How close Josuke got to him, and how long it felt to read it. It made Josuke feel queasy, but in a good way.

"Man, I'm bored." Okuyasu sighed.

"You wanna play video games?" Josuke asked.

"Sure!!"

Josuke and Okuyasu walked back downstairs. Okuyasu sat down in front of the living room couch. Josuke gave him a controller and hooked up the console to the TV, picking up another controller and sitting beside Okuyasu.

It'd a few hours of playing before Tomoko called the boys for dinner.

"Fish and rice is ready! Come down, boys!"

Josuke turned off the console and got up, walking over to the dining table, Okuyasu following close behind as they sat down next to each other. The table was neatly set, with a plate of fish and some rice in the middle. Tomoko passed the both of them a serving of rice and fish, grabbing some for herself afterward. She sat down with her food. Okuyasu was shoveling fish into his mouth.

An awkward silence filled the room as all of them ate, before Josuke broke the tranquility with a subjective remark, "This fish is pretty good.." He couldn't bare the silence.

"Thanks! I think it's kind of bland.. but I'm glad you like it. It looks like Okuyasu likes it too." Tomoko smiled, glancing at Okuyasu, who already finished the fish, and was taking more from the main plate.

Josuke nodded with a silly grin, holding his bowl of rice with one hand as he ate.

After dinner, Okuyasu and Josuke were in the bedroom.

"Oi, Josuke, I think I'm going to take a shower."

"Okay. Are you going to re-wear your clothes?" Josuke asked.

"That's what I usually do. I don't have a lot of clothes, anyway." Okuyasu said, a bit down.

Josuke sighed, looking down as he thought for a second.

Looking back up to face Okuyasu, he said, "You can borrow some of my clothes, bro."

Okuyasu's eyes brightened, "Really, bro? Thanks!" He grinned. Josuke smiled back, sliding open the top drawer to his dresser. He pulled out a plain shirt and dark-teal sweatpants, handing them to Okuyasu. Okuyasu took them and opened the bedroom door, walking down the hall and into the bathroom.
