~Canada POV~

Once Prussia left I began to clean up the kitchen. I picked up all the pots and pans scattered when I was making pancakes. There also were some on the floor that I don't know how they got there.

I was finishing up the dishes when I heard small footsteps. I turned to see Kuma walking in holding his food dish. "Hungry." Kuma said in his high voice. "Ok Kuma let me give you some food." I grabbed some fish from the freezer and set it in his bowl for him. I walked into the living and sat down on the couch.

Even though I slept well last night, I was still strangely tired. I turned on the news to see if anything exciting was going on locally.

"International news: The country of Canada has been having a rapid increase of amnesia patients. Apparently very similar cases have been popping up with hockey incidents gone wrong. Hundreds of people have been sent to the hospital with memory problems. No one knows why the strange phenomenon is happening. Maybe it's just a coincidence, or maybe not. Who knows. Now to Tim with the weather." The news-lady said.

I stared at the screen and was listening to what the news said. Wow those are weird coincidences. Maybe that's how I have memories problems. Maybe there's a strange flu going through that causes memory problems.

I shut the news off not even caring to watch the weather. I knew it would just be cold and maybe some snow like usual. I wonder when Prussia will be back, he didn't tell me when I should expect him back. Oh well I guess I'll go clean upstairs.

I cleaned my room first, picking up all my dirty clothes and random other things. Then I moved on to the upstairs bathroom, which wasn't very dirty since I clean it often. Next I went into the guest bedroom where Gil was staying. Surprisingly the room wasn't a complete wreck. There was some clothes on the ground, but it wasn't too bad. I walked over to some clothes on the ground and scooped them up in my arms to bring to the laundry room.

I turned to leave the room when something caught the corner of my eye. Sitting on a little perch on the dresser was a small yellow bird. It looked so realistic almost as if it was real. I reached to touch it and-yowch- it pecked me. I did NOT expect that at all.

"Hello there little fella. Are you Gil's bird?"

It chirped as if saying yes. It was so cute. I didn't know that Gil had a pet. I never noticed it before.

Going back to leave the room with laundry in my arms now. I walked down the stairs to the first floor. I then kicked open the door to the laundry room. Placing the clothes in a basket on the floor, I turned on the washing machine to prepare for laundry. When the washer was full of water I began placing the clothes in. I picked up some shirts of mine along with Gil's and some pants and socks. I found some boxers with the words "I <3 Beer" on them. I blushed a deep red realizing they were Gil's.

Laundry was done. Check.
Rooms were clean. Check.
Fed Kuma. Check.
Gil comes home. Not check.

I was starting to grow impatient that Gil wasn't home yet. He's been gone for a good 3 hours. A meeting shouldn't take that long. Unless he was lying to me. No he wouldn't lie to me. Would he?

I shook that thought out of my mind as I heard a car pull up outside. Not just one car, but two cars pulled up. I walked outside to see Gil and- Papa?

"Hey Birdie! I'm home! Did you miss me?" I gave Gil a warm smile. I did miss him. "Glad you're back. How was your meeting?" "It was fine. Nothing exciting."
