After a long walk of silence for Bill, but not his father or Dipper. They finally get back to the ship. Bill sets the wheelbarrow down and takes Dipper in his room. "Well, if your coming on, get on" he says blandly to his father. The man smiles and follows Bill to the captain's chambers.

Bill sets Dipper down in his barrel. He moves the barrel closer to the bed and he sets in said bed. His legs are spread to each side the small barrel sets in the middle. Bill pets Dipper's head, Dipper juts sits there and purrs. Bill's father sits on a chair across from them. Bill avoids his father's gaze, this makes the man sad. "Look, if your just hear to look at your ship, then I can give you a tour" Bill says as he digs around in one of his coats many pockets. He pulls out the cookies from earlier and hands one to Dipper. Dipper gasps and takes the cookie, "human food!". He eats it and happiness spreads across his face.

Bill's father and him make small talk for about and hour. Dipper slowly munches his cookie for half the time. The other half was spent eating Bill's after he didn't want it.

Finally Bill just gets up and strolls out. Dipper quickly grabs onto his coat and slides on the ground. Bill walks up to the top deck and plops on the ground. Dipper scotches over next to him. Bill's head is in his arms laying on the rail. Dipper leans against him. "I'm sorry Pine Tree," Bill says as he raises his head to look at the orange sky, "I'm sorry I kept you". Dipper looks at the blonde and cocks his head, "why? I'm not sorry!". "That's not what I mean, I took you away from your family, your home, everything" "no you didn't, they kicked me out after they saw me beat up some dudes for self defense". Bill just turns his head a away, "once we're back out at sea, I'm getting rid of you". Dipper look up at him, tears broke through, "no! I don't have anywhere else!" "Sure you do, your sister obviously wanted you back". Dipper just buries his head in Bill's coat, "But I want to stay!!". Bill looks at the small blue tailed siren.

He loved having the brunette around, it brought him so much joy. But inside there was always that guilt that he took the beauty away from his home. He tried to ignore it but with the guilt with his father resurfacing, he couldn't take it all and he crashed.

Dipper suddenly just looks at Bill, tears streamed down his face. Bill couldn't take it. He grabbed the tear stained face and brought it up to his own. He looked at the scared siren, and then kissed him. Dipper was shocked but didn't pull away. He just close his eyes and tried to latch himself onto Bill's coat.

They release each other after awhile. Bill looks at the siren.

His hazel eyes are closed and small peaceful snores could be heard.

Bill slams the chamber door back open. He sets the sleeping siren back in his bucket. With his back turned to his father he says, "I'm sorry I stole your ship, sorry I never came to visit, and I'm sorry that I left. I thank you for coming by and keeping Dipper company, and for talking to me. But, I think I'd be best if you left, we're departing on the morning". His father got up and walked over to him, but before he got to close he grew scared and just left.

Bill throws off his coat and sets on the bed.

And he cries.
