Shoto Todoroki, son to Enji Todoroki, or better known as the number two hero, Endeavor. He was the youngest of four children, but was named the only one who was fit for his father's attention.

His father would train him to be the best, he wanted Shoto to surpass himself and the number one hero, All Might. He was pushed over the edge multiple times, he'd gain multiple bruises cause of his father.

And because of his father, his mother wasn't completely stable. She was sent to a hospital, after scarring her son. How? Shoto had overheard his mother, Rei, on the phone with her own mother, talking about how he and his siblings start to look more like Enji everyday. Mostly being Shoto's left side, which was the exact side he earned the burn. His mother had poured boiling water on his face, and after realizing what she had done, tried to use her ice type quirk to help, which only worsened the situation.

As he grew older, he began to resent his father even more. His oldest brother, Touya, had tried to protect Shoto from their father, never actually being able accomplish such, due to his father's strength.

When the two reached a certain age, Shoto being in his early tweens, and Touya being in his teens. They left, of course they felt bed leaving their other two siblings. But the two were tired of the abuse, and harsh treatment, especially towards Shoto.

They joined the villain side two years later, Touya changing his name to Dabi, while Shoto kept his the same, agreeing to only use his first name, of course. And soon, they had heard of Stain. Dabi idolized him, while Shoto, simply thought he was inspiring, though wasn't a big fan of him as Dabi was.

When Shoto reached the age of fifteen, the two heard of the league. Finding they had attacked the USJ, where 1-A was training, the hero class of U.A. in hopes of killing All Might.

And soon after the Stain Incident occured, -it wasn't as big as Stain being arrested, but it was mentioned- the league had unleashed multiple Nomu's to attack the city. It was thought, that they teamed up with Stain, leading to Dabi choosing to join, Shoto agreeing to go along.

When Shoto and his brother had arrived with a man named Giran, and a girl with two pig tails, at a bar, he didn't really know what to think. Seeing a man with a hand on his face, sitting next to a boy with a hidden face, wasn't expected. And when Giran was doing introductions, he assumed he had been forgotten, or simply went unnoticed, but was surprised to see he wasn't, when the boy had asked about him.

And only a few weeks in with the league, they were gaining more recruits. But no one really interested him, well expect for the boy, Izuku or what they were told to call him, Deku, he had been the only one to catch the dual-quirked male's attention.

He had overtime, learned little about the male, and found it hard to read him. He simply found that he was easily bothered by Toga, and ended up leaving the bar a lot, but he didn't know what for.

Shoto awoke to the sound of a floorboard creaking, Dabi lay across the room, in his own bed, still asleep. It wasn't much of a surprise to Shoto, as the male was always a light sleeper, and his brother not so much. He slowly began to sit up, looking through the window, past the thin curtains, finding it still night out. His eyes trailed to the clock on the stand beside Dabi.

He sighed, realizing, now that he was awake, he wouldn't be going back to sleep anytime soon.

Another creak, caused him to stand from his bed, and make his way to the bedroom door. He looked into the hall, finding no one, only to hear another creak, coming from the stairs. Furrowing his eyebrows, he stepped into the hall, quietly and carefully closing the door behind him.

Soon as he reached down stairs, his turquoise and gray eyes, immediately went to Izuku, who was sitting at the bar, in usual, but slightly different attire.

Izuku slowly looked over his shoulder, making eye contact with Shoto, who stood in place. Shoto licked his dry lips, slowly making his way over, and taking a seat two stools away from Izuku.

The two were silent, as they've never been alone before. Shoto always being with his brother, or staying in his room at the bar, and Izuku always out doing something unknown to everyone, or locked up with Tomura, discussing plans.

Izuku sighed, breaking the silence, "why're you up? I'm the only one who's ever really up at this time."

Shoto glanced at him, from the corner of his eye. The hooded male had his head resting on his palm, staring at the shelves with different types of whiskey glasses, behind the bar counter.

Shoto shrugged, "not sure. May be cause I heard you in the hall." He answered honestly.

Izuku didn't say anything as he stood and made his way to the door, as Shoto watched him leave, the hooded male not even glancing back at him.

Only if he could find out what goes through that boy's head.
