A bloody Awakening

Izuku coughed, blood running down his chin, only leading him to furiously wipe it way, leaving a red smudge in it's place. He stood with aching legs, his knees feeling like they were to buckle under him at any minute. He panted, his chest rising and falling at a fast rate, sweat trickled down his forehead, where a bruise was forming.

Again

He mentally cursed himself, he forced his legs to stop shaking, steadying himself, and ignoring the pain.

Again

His normally emerald forest green eyes turned a dangerous red. A heavy aura surrounded him, he clenched his shaking hands as he glared at the large villain in front of him. The twelve, soon to be thirteen year old, steadied his breathing to the best of his ability, before he spoke.

"Nomu."

The muscular beast gave a screech as it's reply, before it charged at Izuku under the command of the pre-teen.

The male took a defensive stance, though before he knew it, the man-made monster was standing in front of him, reaching a giant hand towards him. Within seconds the greenette was sent flying back, hitting the wall with sickening crack following. He groaned, but despite the seething pain, he stood.

Again

He couldn't disappoint.

The Nomu once again charged, arms raised, and a screech falling from his beak. But this time Izuku made his move, he raised his arms, his eyes glowing a furious red. A beautiful purple mist-like aura swirled around him, to the tips of his fingers.

Within a blink, the Nomu was sent flying back, screeching as he began to pull himself together. Izuku stared in shock at his hand, before he looked up as the beast began to stand.

Again

He didn't want to let him down, he didn't want to come off as weak. He wasn't weak, he wasn't useless. And that's what master saw, he gave him this gift for a reason. To take over society, to kill the heroes of this messed up world. To take revenge on those who have wronged him.

Again

He'd tell himself over and over.

And just as the Nomu was ready to charge again, that's when he snapped. The pictures of them, flashed through his head like a projector on repeat.

So much bottled up, so much showed through the red sea in his eyes. He looked up, things seemed to come to a slow, as the Nomu charged. But before he could so much as step 5 feet in front of the boy, the same purple, though much darker, full of much more power, swirled around Izuku. The aura around him strengthened, and within seconds, blood painted the walls and floors.

Izuku breathed with heavy breaths, his chest heaving, as he stared down at the pool of blood a few feet away, where the Nomu had just been. Peaces of purple skin and brains lay a few feet away, Izuku looked down at his hands, as the aura disappeared, and his eyes returned to his mesmerising green.

He blinked before he realized what he had just done. His eyes widened, and his lips twitched.

He grinned

He had done it. He had finally defeated the Nomu his master told him to kill.

"Only when Nomu is killed, will you have mastered your power."

He looked towards the door, as it was pushed open, the familiar face of his brother entering the training room. Though he came to stop as he looked around at the gore painting the room. His eyes darting, until they landed on the familiar green pools.

"You....you did it...?" He gruffly spoke, he didn't mask the surprise on his face as he began to walk towards the younger, who was still grinning like a madman.

"Let's go tell master."

I was able to write a chapter through a panic attack, and I'm very proud of myself, which isn't a regular occurrence.
