i wasnt hit by confusion, nor guilt, nor anger because that right there was tony and peppers fake promise ring when i looked closer i froze at the words

"how did you get that ring'' i was still staring at the ring that was 3 days after the vulture was captures and its not rusted i toned everything out i need an answer thats all i could focus on cause where the hell would he get it??

"How did you get that ring?" i couldn't see his expression my eyes were still glued to the ring no-one should have that ring no-one except morgan and no one knows where they live...unless no that's theoretically impossible there's like a kazillion suits there

"how did you get that ring?"i pointed my hand to where the ring used to be  i slowly looked up but couldn't meet his eyes no way he could have stolen it from pepper no-way after tonys death pepper never took it off she gave the other ring to morgan as a symbol of love, that her father is always with her

"how di you get that ring?" i huffed at the question what is so important about it that hed want the answer to it i thought for a second before an idea popped up maybe i could take advantage of this moment i cant ask for the card cause no way he'll give it to me i already know that he despised me so..mabye

"...what" it wasn't like the rest of his arguments or the cold tone it was stern and left no place to come back from it
