'Not even they can stop me now, boy I be flying overhead,' she sang.

The water fell down her shoulders forcing the soap suds to disapear in the drain. She didn't care that the water travelled into her mouth; she was just grateful that out of the many things they didn't have they had water.

'Their heavy words can't bring me down, boy I've been raised from the dead.'

She stepped out onto the frayed bath mat and rubbed her towel against her shoulders. The cold early morning wind could not affect her; she was used to it.

'No one even knows how hard life was, I don't even think about it now because, I finally found you.'

She splattered lotion all over her legs and arms in a slow mesmerising way. Her long hair fell into her eyes and chocolate skin gleamed as the sun miled at her gleefully.

'Now my life is sweet like cinnamon,' She had her red flannel on now and the buttons which weren't done correctly left the ends flapping loosely. Her torn shorts were tight but comfortable enough so she wasn't too bothered.

'Like a fucking dream I'm living in, baby love me 'cause I'm playing on the radio.'

She picked up a lage bucket on her way out of the ouse and listened to the sound of her boots crunching gravel and mud. Bruce, Stormflash, Kara, Daze, Ebony and Knight would begin to neigh as she entered the barn which always made her smile.

'Lick me up and take me like a vitamin 'cause my body's sweet like sugar venom oh yeah, Baby love me 'cause I'm playing on the radio.'

The horses neighed eagerly as she beamed at them. My award-wnning smile, she thought. She filled the bucket up with oats whilst stabbing a mountain of hay with a large pitchfork from the shed.

'Come on guys, eat up.'

They gobbled down the food hungrily as she shared out their rations of hay; she had no idea how much they adored her. She spent a little more time with Daze who was more of the weaker horse than the others, she was also the only horse in her eyes. She stroked her head and fed her a few mints because she loved them.

She turned around around and watched an expensive car roll into the house next door; the mansion.

'Look Daze, them rich landowners are here; it's been months though ain't it?'

Daze only snorted in her ear and shoved her nose into her palm searching for more mints. The family stepped out of the car and insantly her eyes were dragged to a boy they way they always did when someone moved into the vicinity; tall, handsome and sparkling blue eyes. She knew instantly that she was in trouble.
