Gloves pov (went expecting that were you now?)

I wake up the next day to a notification from inkstagram. I pick it up and look at it.

@Aloha_Pinku🎶 posted 1 new photo.

I click on it and am brought to a picture of aloha lying in bed beside a sleeping (y/n). They're both all dressed in their full gear. So I'm not concerned anything happened between them.

I sit up suddenly and get dressed and walk into the kitchen where I see Octoglasses sitting on the tall chair, leaning onto the tall kitchen counter. She looks dead inside. Straw is awake, she's cooking eggs and bacon with some toast. Bamboo is sitting on a tall chair next to the hungover Octoglasses playing on her phone. And snorkel Is sleeping face down on the carpet. Aloha is nowhere to be seen. And I just noticed (y/n) sitting next to bamboo, also on her phone, with a big dorky smile on her face.

I click on it. I'm brought to the video and I press play almost instantly.

"Hey guys it's Aloha🎶! And look at everyone!🎶 They're all so tired! Octoglasses will be feeling that alcohol tomorrow lol"
He walks around the house.
"Gloves was being a big sissy. I didn't see him at all during the party! Man gloves why don't you join in on the fun?!"
He points the camera at me. I roll my eyes. But smile because he was 100% right about that. After he goes to bamboo.
"Bamboo is staying over tonight! But the real angel is in my room~🎶"
He opens his door and shows (y/n).
"Haha I scored big tonight guys🎶 I had fun! Great party!!"

He turns the camera off. Just then aloha walks in with a bag of what I'm guessing is clothes. But he has a big weapons box. I see it's a (f/w) and know that it's for (y/n). She loves that weapon. She's always watched splattube videos of people using them. She's wanted to learn for so long but no one in our town would sell to a, quote unquote, "disgusting family disappointment".
"Hey is that a (f/w)?"
Bamboo says looking over at aloha.
"Yuppie~🎶 now, where can I find the best girl in inkopolis square?!"

Aloha waltzes into the kitchen and stands in front of (y/n) with a big smile.
"Yes aloh-"
She pauses as he hands her the weapon box. She takes it into her hands and smiles, opening the box she gives it a feel around, eventually figuring out how to actually hold it like a functioning octoling girl.
"Wow uh aloha, you really got me this?! How did you know?!"
"Bamboo helped me with this trusty text message."
He waves his inkphone around with a smile. She shoots up and smiles, she pulls him into a tight, bone-crushing hug.
"THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!"

Octoglasses breaks the loud screeching of (y/n), by falling off the tall chair.
"MY GOD-!"
Straw grabs her and wraps her arms around herself.
"Aloha. Be a lamb and watch the food please."
"You got it🎶"
He goes and takes over in the kitchen.

Your pov.

Im with bamboo and aloha. We're walking to new Albacore hotel. We decided that since the house is a mess, we should go somewhere else for the next day. (He told snorkel that he would pay him for cleaning the house as well. But we all know he's not actually gonna pay him.)
"So uh, aloha..."
"Yes?"
"Do you, by any chance, know how to use this weapon?"
"Do you, not not know how to even use it?!"
He says slightly shocked.
"Not really... but gloves let me use his once. He has one in his back closet."

Taking a big breath of air in. He sighs loudly before taking my hand. I glance back at bamboo who is just holding alohas credit card.
"ALOHA? SHOULD I COME WITH? ACTUALLY NEVERMIND IM GETTING A NEW SHIRT. YOUR MONEY ALOHA!"
He laughs and glances back at her.
"JUST CHECK INTO THE HOTEL AFTER YOU'RE DONE!🎶"
He keeps walking. After a while his walk turns into a quick jog, then a run. He ducks around a few corners and comes to the practice area of the hotel.

"Okay. Come here. Stand right here."
(This discussion about how to shoot the weapon is based on the basic shooter weapons. If you use a charger or dulies or brushes or anything like that. Just go with your favourite shooter. I'm too lazy to find some other way to write it so it works with all weapon types)
He motions to in front of him. I walk up in front of him and he shows me how to stand. After trying (and failing) to help me. He just stands behind me and places his hands on my wrists and looks over my shoulder.
"Okay. Place your left hand (just say you're right handed) underneath the weapon at the front here, it helps support the weight of it. But I assume that was obvious."
I let him move my hand to the front.
"Now, uh, you're supposed to HOLD it (y/n)."
He laughs and I grip the front embarrassed.

"Now hold your other hand by the trigger."
"Mhmm."
"Now in order to shoot the ink. You just hold it down. K?"
"Okay."
I do as he says. I shoot the ink and the ground Is covered in (I/c).
"Yay! You did it! You did the most basic thing that all inklings can do!"
I laugh sarcastically and we continue to train.

We're walking back and I see bamboo in the distance with 2 bags of stuff. Aloha has a mini heart attack and grabs his credit card from the money spending inkling.
"Aloha you're like an ATM machine. Don't give me your credit card and NoT expect me to spend your money."
"Okay. That's enough bamboo."
He grabs his card back from him. Knowing he's rich, no one really freaks out. Aloha just laughs.

We check into the hotel and it's absolutely beautiful. A big window. Nicely made beds. The room is neat and tidy and there are only 2 beds-
"Wait. Only two beds?"
"Well I'm not staying with bamboo. So you're definitely not getting your own bed (y/n)!"
"Oh shut up aloha!"
Bamboo laughs.
"But if I were to recommend something. I'm gonna recommend you stay with me."
Aloha winks and lays across the bed in a seductive way.
"You goofball!"
I wheeze and push him over on his back and steal his visor. I put it on and grab my bag and take my bikini.
"What? You guys wanna go to the pool?"
"Okay!"
They all grab their swimsuits and jump up.

This is earlier then normal updates cause I'm too lazy to update later. Maybe I'd you're lucky I'll post again later ;3
