"Courtney!" Duncan screamed, trying to get out of Alejandro and Trents grasps to reach her.

"Gwen can you....?" Trent looked at the pale goth.

Gwen nodded, running over to the ruins of the half sinked bus.

"Why can't I go!?" Duncan struggled, still trying to escape their grasps.

Trent rolled his eyes, "You dated Gwen for two years and didn't know that she's a good swimmer?" Duncan shook his head, calming. "Ok, I'll stop. So can you bitches let me go already?"

Alejandro and Trent stepped back, releasing the delinquent.

"Look!" Heather pointed to the bus, seeing Gwen pulling out a body from the bus. "Courtney!" Duncan screamed, running to them, Trent close behind.

"Is she dead?" Trent asked, staring at Courtney's body. Gwen shook her head, "No, there's faint breathing. We should make a camp, let her rest." She watched Heather and Alejandro rush down, seeing the scratch marks on everyone's body. "Let everyone rest."

Heather nodded, "I agree, we need to figure out what shit happened and what bastard sent us here."

Gwen looked at the Asian, wide-eyed, this was the first time they agreed on something. "Ok so here's the plan. Heather and Alejandro, find somewhere we can stay. Trent and Duncan, go find firewood, it's going to be a cold night. I'll stay with Courtney. If anyone gets lost or....worse, send a bird call or anything."

The rest of the group nodded, Heather and Alejandro leaving in one direction, Trent and Duncan in another.

Gwen knelt down next to Courtney, watching the latina breath quietly. That's when she noticed something on Courtney's forearm.

Gwen raised an eyebrow, lifting up Courtney's arm. On it, was four written words, in a language she couldn't understand.

Al lado de morir.

So this was a short chapter because I really wanted to explain what happened with Alejandro, Heather, Trent, and Duncan, in the next chapters. Concerning COVID-19, I want all of you to be safe and stay inside. This is a serious thing, people have died! So if you are going out without a mask, you're endangering the lives of many people. Again, STAY INSIDE AND SAFE.
