Jino Pov
???: Jino!
Jino: H-Huh?
I slowly open my eyes as my vision is a blur, color starts to come back to me as I slowly push myself up before a hand stops me.
???: No no you need to rest!
The hand then pushes me back onto something comfy. my eyes adjust and I see the person is Kyuka.
Jino: Kyuka!
Kyuka: Please, please you need to rest.
I glance down and see i'm laying in a white cloth bed. I'm not wearing a shirt as I'm covered in bandages. I have more bandage wraps around my forehead. I look to my left and see Satoshi sitting up in his bed. He has bandages wrapped around him, he had bandages wrapped around his forehead. He has a cloth over his eye with a bandage wrapping around his face.
Jino: Satoshi your okay!?
Satohi: Yeah i'm fine!
Suddenly a door opens and Bryn walk in, she has a couple bandaids on but not that many as us.
Bryn: Can you both shut up, there's people trying to rest.
Jino: Oh sorry.
Soon a flood of people walk in. There was Ito, Damae, Tsuyoi and Kenko. They all had some bandages on, they all had worried looks on their faces.
Damae: You guys are okay!
Ito: You guys were reckless.
Tsuyoi: Glad you guys are okay.
Kenko: Good to see you guys are healing up.
Jino: Wait wheres Howai? Did he get seriously injured?
Tsuyoi: No he decided to stay in the room and rest.
Jino: Oh okay then.
Kyuka: I'm glad to see everyone's alright but they need their rest.
Ito: But there up now, they should be fine-
Damae: Ito, we should let them rest.
Ito: But?
Bryn: Damae's right, let's let them rest and then we'll come back.
Ito: Fine.
All: Bye Jino, bye Satoshi.
Jino: Bye guys.
Satoshi: Hm.
Everyone then left the room as the door closed Kyuka then lectured us and told us to try to go back to sleep.
Third Person Pov
The Vanguard members walked out of the room and after closing the door they started walking back but were stopped by Ito.
Ito: Wait?
All: Huh?
Ito: Kenko, you and your team were here for a reason, weren't you?
Kenko: U-Uh no, we were just here to relax.
Damae: Kenko, I can tell your lying, what reason did you guys have to be here?
Kenko: Fine i'll tell you.
Both Damae and Ito perk up at attention.
Kenko: The King of this archipelago, have you heard of him?
Damae: Yeah we heard about him from one of those animal people.
Kenko: Well one of the islands he has control of, his main base is my home island.
Damae: So a tyrant has control over your island?
Kenko: Yes, he has control over many islands together like this one. He's created a serum that can turn people into animals.
Ito: How does he do that?
Kenko: Well he's turned multiple of his islands into factories to work on it and he has multiple islands that hold the animals they extract DNA from.
Ito: So there experimenting with animals.
Kenko: Yeah.
Damae: So you want to stop him?
Kenko: Yes.
Ito: Well then let us help you.
K/B/T: What!?
Damae: That sounds like a great idea.
Kenko: You can't, I was already planning on doing this on my own but my team insisted they help, I can't let anyone else get in danger-
Ito then walked forward and placed her hand on his shoulder.
Ito: Listen, were all apart of the Vanguard now, were all gonna have to risk our lives at some point, we're apart of the same group so let us help you.
Kenko: I er I, fine i'll let you guys help.
Damae: Yay!
Ito: You won't regret it.
Kenko: I hope not.
A silhouette of a man in black was standing in a chamber, he had a book in his hand. The book seemed to be old based on the type of paper and the words were different symbols. The man stared intently at the book as if he somehow understood the unknown symbols. He was interrupted by a man walking in.
Sama: Kuroi, what did I tell you about interrupting me while i'm reading?
Kuroi: Forgive me Leader Sama but all preparations for the Eight Demonic Precepts are ready.
Sama: Well then, let's get this started.
Sama closed his book as he placed it in his robes as he and Kuroi began walking through a hall before stepping into a room that had a grey dirt like substance with rectangular holes going 6 feet under. Both Kuroi and Leader Sama stepped forward before Kuroi placed his hands together as dark fire surrounded the holes, soon dark symbols appeared in the holes. Sama walked in the center of all the graves as he lifts the black robes to show his pale skin. Black marks covered covered his arm as holes appeared around his arm as blood squirted out of his holes, the blood squirted into each hole as it filled up, soon the wounds healed as the blood glowed, the ground around them shook as the grey dirt filled the holes, the floor was stained a greyish red now. Soon a hand pops out of the ground, the hand is pale white and covered in dirt. Soon more hands pop out of the ground.
Sama: Yes, soon this world will be under my thumb.
