Becca fell sick for days.. & months ..

She didn't find any comfort where she was and with her bestie- who tried to console her shattered heart and soothe her sorrow- nor did she listen to her parents when they tried to take her out for change.. The pain Evan caused her was deep , it took place at an altitude of 30,000 feet .. Just when her life made sense, just when she found love, she lost it , slapped on the face in the worst possible way that the man she adored and gave her entire self to, not even betrayed her trust but , cheated on her and sent her packing like some worthless slut without confronting her like a real man. She felt her entire world vanishing after receiving that awful message.

Becca was reminded during her sleepless nights of that time when she called him and heard another woman moaning in his embrace.. At times she felt very disgusted that she wanted to throw up when she remembered how he whispered sweet words to her ear while touching her using same hands that touched some other woman.. Her pain was deep ..just like a knife piercing in her heart, she cried tears that were like kites that had been cut off , fell down endlessly from her big brown eyes that were full of anger , sadness and so much regret ~~

A new day has come , Mia came to see her; like she always did; brought her favorite bagels and coffee ; sat by her side on the bed and hugged her tightly :"Morning ma sweet, how are you feeling today?"  she rubbed her hair,"I don't know .. I'm better I guess, that's what everyone wants to hear right ?" ,she replied while stretching out her legs. 

"I know you Becca, better than anyone, you don't have to fake it, you can always tell me whenever you need a comforting ear, I'll be here for you" , Mia pulled her friend into her arms and said with her silvery voice :"Everything heals Becca, Your body heals.. Your heart heals.. Your mind heals & Your happiness is going to come back because Bad times never last" ! 

"Yeh I know ..am grateful to have you in my life.."

Mia was somehow relieved that finally Becca is responding and talking again , she stared with joy at her; sipping savorly the latté and digging into the bagels; and said :" Let's ride our bicycles and have some fun out .We used to do this every weekend besides the weather is perfect..and am so not taking a"no" for an answer !"Becca just couldn't turn her down ,though she felt nothing but ache and grief , she wanted to scream .. Still liked the idea of going out , she thought it was time to eventually get on her feet again ,forget and leave everything behind, because it simply was never meant to be..

Shortly after, they arrived to the parc where "Dan" was waiting for them, and Becca wasn't even surprised to see him. Because Mia told her that he called every single day to check on her and came by to drop groceries at times ..Impatiently, he run to hold her , he was clearly missing her that she found herself squeezed inside his arms and started breathing heavily : 

"Dan , loosen up ..I can't breathe" 

"Oh am sorry , got carried away and you're so tiny " He laughed , "Glad to see you, after so long", he added delightfully like he didn't know anything. Dan was never good at pretending or lying, everything shows on his face whether good or bad, but this time Becca was mourning herself that she didn't notice anything with him.

"Thanks Dan for everything,am alright" she smiled briefly , "Mia, I wanna go home now,I'm tired" , just then Dan interrupted her : "Would you like to go out with me sometime!" , his eyes were sparkling ,he wanted to shut his heart that raced inside his chest anticipating her answer, she replied softly " Sure , call me " ..

Becca's answer was everything he awaited for and hoped to hear ever since he laid eyes on her, he has finally taken the courage to ask the woman he loves out and she agreed without thinking too much ~

During dinner, Becca didn't speak much .. but Mia kept staring at her ..she wasn't sure wether to tell her or not what was bothersome. 

As they were ready to sleep, Mia couldn't hold it back and uttered in an unpleasant way : "So you're going out with Dan ...as on a date ?!"

" No it is not a date , he wants to hang out, me too, he asked and I said yes !" ,she replied."Becca, Dan loves you !! Don't pretend like you don't know about it. If you go out with him, it means you're giving him hope and you're okay with this and..." Before she could finish her sentence, Becca shut her up and walked towards the window : " I know he does, I know! ..Dan has treated me with so much kindness and respect during all these years, why can't I accept his heart ? why can't I give myself a chance to start over with someone who's honest , who always stood by my side, someone who cares about me!! tell me?? " ..

Her brittle voice made Mia upset and stunned for a moment . She was utterly sure that Becca hasn't moved on from Evan, she invested so much into that relationship and shared with him deep and passionate love ,  that getting over him in only few months would be way harder than anything else . Moreover, it would be too cruel for her to lead 'a friend' on into actually believing that there might be a chance between them . Becca was still hurting but Mia was more concerned, she didn't know anything about Evan, deep down ,she thought that there were some missing pieces about this whole breaking up story .

She just hoped that he will show up again one day , and do whatever it takes to win back that woman's heart before it's too late, because Evan's love was true and real ~~
