Having decided to not tell Becca about their meeting , Mia and Evan planned to make a set up in order to expose Dan .

The next day Mia called Becca and convinced her to go watch a Tennis game together with Dan.

"I thought you didn't like Dan , now you wanna hang out with him ? " , she wondered.

"Yeh well he's alright, as long as he likes you, am fine with it, besides, I'm really bored and I haven't seen you for awhile now". She added: " Let's meet at Dan's !"

" Why at Dan's? we'll come and pick you up ", Becca inquired suspiciously.

"Just wait for me there , am close anyway!"

As Dan drove away his car, Evan appeared from the dark, near the garage entrance, he grinned after noticing that Mia left the side window of the living room open~

He sneaked inside carefully, walked through the hallway to Dan's room. He gazed around it , his eyes darting more wildly as he run through the desk checking its drawers off one by one .. But none. Evan was looking for 'his phone', the only clue he thought of to prove that Dan was behind the whole scheme . As he sifted and sorted everywhere his eyes were constantly on the look-out for the black device, he stood in front of the closet and dragged his tall arms to the top shelf searching under the pants and shirts. Without even looking, his hand reached a box made of wood , he took it out ,sat on the messy bed and opened it. His nerves were shot instantly, as he scanned the contents.. He didn't just find his phone ,but also several 'paparazzi' kind of pictures taken of Becca and few letters written to her, a heart shaped pendant necklace with her name on it ... In the grip of silent panic, wild eyes, pupils dilated . What he saw turned his brain to a storm of clashed emotions, he muttered :" What a freak psychopath !"

Without much thinking, he grabbed the box , and rushed outside .

Back at his home , he texted Mia " Go to Becca's after the game, make sure to bring that bastard along with you. I'll meet you there". Evan was determined to expose Dan that now he's got the phone , and the calls' history.

Few minutes have passed , Becca, Mia and Dan were sitting in the living room , having a drink .

" Girls, I had a great time with you, let's do it again some other time!", he sighed :"But it's time for me to go now".

" Why don't you stay for dinner Dan?" ,Becca asked smiling. "No, I'd rather go babe, I feel sleepy", he leaned to kiss her on the cheek, but glanced doubtfully at Mia who  anxiously was looking at her watch.. she screamed inside "Evan where are you!!" .

The door bell rung suddenly -grating-, snapped Mia out from her deep distress , she rushed to open : "Thought you'd never come" , She smirked. Evan walked into the salon carrying the wooden box he said jokingly:" I can see the sweat has completely covered your face , Dan" .The irritation and shock disturbed Becca too much that she lashed out :" What are you doing in my house ?" ,she looked at Mia upset :" What's going on here !!"

Swelling with terror at seeing his case in Evan's hands, Dan felt the rise of his blood pressure, as he stepped towards Evan and tried to snatch the box away ,he growled angrily :" What do you think you're doing !" . Instantly, Evan bushed him aside with a tough punch on his face and roared :" You son of a bitch!! psychopath!!" , he fell on the sofa. 

Becca knew that this was the least of her worries but fright consumed every cell in her body, she yelled again:" Can someone explain to me what on earth is going on ?? Evan ?!!"

Mia sat beside her and said calmly :" Becca, listen to me , Dan has been lying to you all this time, he was only using you ! Evan left because of his family , he had too, but that day, someone stole his phone and he couldn't reach you after he landed. We were wrong about everything ".. As Mia went on clarifying, Becca felt the air becoming more soupy, harder to breathe ,a glossy sheen coated her eyes with tears ,she glared at Dan bitterly :" Why did you do this! Why!!", he replied: "Don't listen to her babe , she's lying to you, Evan cheated on you and you said you'll never forgive him!"

Becca -shaking- her thoughts scattered like a storm inside her head , but Mia stood up to confront him :" Don't 'babe' her asshole !! She never told you that Evan cheated on her !! How did you know that?" ,

Dan's face was one of awkwardness, he didn't even hurry to save his a** , his silence made his blood as cold as the autumnal air that crept through an open window .

At that moment Becca hurried footsteps towards Evan brought her heart racing as fast as a gunshot, she asked firmly :" What's inside this box ?"

He fixed her face when he opened it for her to see. Her silent reaction hung in the air like the suspended moment before a falling glass shatters on the ground, she mumbled :" it's your phone Evan! how ... ? and this is my necklace .. and those are my pictures .." she shoved her eyes to Dan disgusted and slapped him twice :" you're such an unimaginable bastard ! Get the hell outta my house, I never want to see your face again !"

His brain formulated no thoughts other than to lose Becca forever , he bursted out :" You were the only girl I loved, I waited for you all these years to notice me ! to feel what I've felt for you since we were in high school ! but I was just your good friend! you were shining on your own but your surrounding was always pitch dark !! I grew in that dark and I hoped one day you'll see me ".. 

He sobbed deplorably :" Until someone came in out of nowhere and stole you from me! I couldn't bare it and YES I made Ade steal that phone that day and I was the one who sent you that message and I called him too to break you apart !! Yess I did everything for you Becca!!! because I loved you !!! ".

Under the shock, and the words that came out of Dan's mouth ,the silence was like a gaping void, needing to be filled with sounds, words, anything, but Becca's eyes dripped with tears.. salty drops fell from her chin drenching her shirt , she looked at Mia who pouted ruefully then stared nervously at Evan and felt so stupid, she couldn't speak but walked out running not knowing where to go .

Evan run after her as quickly as his long legs can carry him , bolting down the street to catch his "Tutts" :
