Four Months AgoOpening her eyes, Evie noticed that they are still in the same place they were when they died. She looked over at Bonnie, realizing their hands were still interlaced and quickly dropped her hand, Damon doing the same to Bonnie.
"Huh. That got awkward fast." Damon commented making Evie smile a little. As they all looked around, they all shared the same expression: confusion. Bonnie started to walk out of the woods, leaving the other two behind. "Where are you going? Hey." Following Bonnie, the three managed to make to the middle of the street, in town.
"What the hell are you doing?" Evie laughed as she watched Damon stick his fingers in his mouth.
"Well, Littlest Gilbert, I feel a fang. I'm still a vampire." Evangeline quickly copied Damon, making sure she had her fangs. She felt around but couldn't feel anything pointy.
"Uh, guys? I don't have my fangs." Evie said, panic in her eyes.
"What? How could I have them, but you don't? Open your mouth." Damon ordered, needing to check for himself. Reluctantly, Evie let him look inside her mouth and he too found a fang nowhere in sight. "Weird."
"Look." Bonnie told them. Following her gaze, she was looking at the Mystic Grill, completely intact.
"We definitely blew that up about an hour ago." Evie frowned, Damon nodding in agreement.
"Why don't we see any people? If we're still on the Other Side, we should at least be able to see the living." Bonnie concluded as they all kept looking around with puzzled faces.
"Where the hell are we? And I don't mean geographically." Damon said.
"I have no idea."
"No fucking way!" Evie shouted out in excitement, interrupting the moment of silence.
"What's wrong with you? Why are you so happy to find out we don't know where we are?" Damon questioned with a judgmental look.
"I think I'm dreaming because this is a lot like a dream I once had. Evan Peters just popped up out of nowhere and we lived together. Man, that was such a good dream." Evie smiled fondly as the two others just stared at her as if she were crazy. "Don't judge me! Evan Peters is the best thing to ever bless this earth. You would know that if you just took a couple days of your life to binge watch American Horror Story." With a huff, Evie turned on her heel and started to march down the road.

It was morning time, the streets were deserted, and Bonnie, Evie and Damon were walking in the middle of the street. Damon had his leather jacket slung over his shoulder, Bonnie's grey jacket was tied around her waist and Evie had completely given up on her boots and was walking around with no shoes on. Tip: never wear heeled boots for long walks.
"How many more streets are we going to wander?" Damon whined.
"How many times are you going to ask me questions I don't have the answers to? Huh?" Bonnie answered, clearly very annoyed. "There's something weird about these cars."
"Yeah, they're all 20 years old or more and yet they look brand new." Damon said, running his hand over the hood of one as they walked past it. Evie froze when she saw a familiar white house.
"Guys? Th- that's my house." Evangeline rejoiced as she stared up at the house in awe.
"No, Evie, that's your not-so-burnt-to-a-crisp house." Damon corrected as he approached it, although is overtaken by Evie, sprinting to the porch. Damon saw a newspaper on the grass and picked it up. "Hey, Bonnie? Come read this." Damon turned to her and held out the paper so she can read.
