Lee Seoyeon
Minho debuted in the group SHINee in 2008 while Grace debuted in the male dominated group NCT in 2016. These two have a seven year age gap and Minho is Grace's senior in the idol industry by eight years. These two were very unlikely to get together but they eventually did. Grace and Minho dated for a total of three years and two months, in which, they kept entirety of their relationship private. But their story begins before 2016.
Grace has joined SM in late 2012/early 2013, after leaving YG Entertainment. Minho has already debuted as the main rapper of SHINee by this time.
Grace was a huge SHINee fan and even decided to audition for SM Entertainment because of Boa and SHINee. When she was a trainee, Grace was known for her doll like visuals and her powerful dance moves. Grace had caught the attention of many male trainees. Minho has heard of her because of the rumors. However, these two never really got to meet.
She eventually started dating then fellow SM Rookie Ji Hansol for a period of four months. These two naturally transitioned from friends to lovers. However, Grace and Hansol called it quits after almost getting caught by SM staff and the lost of romantic feelings. This made Grace made more weary of the company and their dating rules.
Eventually she met Kim Woojin who she went on a couple of dates with but nothing more occurred from there.
All these time Grace had been in practice room for almost as much as she possibly could. She faced disappointment when she found out that some of her fellow female trainees were going to make their debut. Grace had been in the possible lineup, only to be taken out.
Grace faced a dilemma and was later added into the NCT lineup. This is the time where Minho would notice her as he found it strange for a female trainee to be so openly close with a group of male trainees. He later found out that she was going to debut in an all boy group.
