Hayley's face frowned.

' I hope you do not think that I gave up Angel! ' The text message read.

"Is there something wrong?" Cassie asked.

Putting back the phone in her pocket, she smiled. "No. It's nothing,"

Cassie gave her a small smile. "So? Tell me hunny. I have known Adrian for five years now through Chris of course. And through those years, we have attended events, balls, parties, and every girl that would accompany him, he was never that interested. But not untill today when he was almost leaving! The look he gave you is not just any other look. He wasn't happy about leaving you behind,"

"But he sent me away! I did not want to leave his house but he insisted. He was sure about what he did," Hayley said.

She narrated everything to Cassie who was nodding as she listened.

"So. Do you love him?" Cassie asked.

"I don't know. I'm so confused,"

"Why is that hunny?"

"I don't know whether I should be falling in love with him! As I told you since that someone told me about Adrian being just a user! Everything changed,"

"I don't think you should have taken what the person said seriously without confirming it. With what you have just told me, that guy is surely head over heels over you. You ignored him, went on a date, and that changed him! And that is why he sent you away,"

"I don't know. Can we just forget about it! Nothing can be changed. I will not be seeing him again!"

Cassie grinned. "You can not be sure about that," She stood up from her bed.

She added. "I will be seeing you later Hayley. When you're done, just come down. I will be in the kitchen probably! I need to get some ice cream. This cravings are killing me!"

Hayley chuckled. "Okay. I will be down in a few,"

Taking back her phone, she checked if Andrew had sent her another text message. There was none! He was back! Who would protect her! Andrew was crazy and now that she was no longer living at Adrian's place, she was in trouble. She knew Andrew would not rest. He would come for her.

Luckily, he was not aware of where she was. Maybe she was safe for the time being. Putting everything behind, she arranged her room and left for the kitchen. But first she would check on Anna and Nicholas.

Cassie was on the kitchen stool scooping on her ice cream.

"C'mon dear. You can take some from the fridge,"

"I'm okay. I just need some water,"

Cassie rolled her eyes. "Soot yourself,"

"You have such a nice home," Hayley commented.

"Thank you hunny. It's hard work you know. You will get here too trust me,"

"God willing," Hayley replied.

Putting her ice cream behind, she wiped herself with a napkin. " Take a seat. I want us to discuss about your payment and stuff. As I told you, you are here for my baby who is due any moment. At least for the first three months I will be here with you. I will be going back to work since I have a company to run. I have already decorated my baby's room but it's not yet done. You will do that for me. After that you can wash all the baby clothes. They are still unwashed,"

"Okay," Hayley nodded.

They discussed the payment and agreed on it.

"I will be going to take some rest! My back is killing me," Cassie said. "Oh, I haven't introduced you to my house helps! They must be somewhere around the house! I will later,"
