The words hit her as she swallows the lump on her throat.

"I swear if you do no comment I will be going nuts right now," Adrian mutters.

Hayley sniffles as she lets the tears stream down her face. Wait! Why is she even angry. This is a different case. It is not his fault that he got his ex pregnant. They were together by then and she wasn't in his life. She scolds herself. She shouldn't be angry.

"It's okay Adrian. I was just taken by surprise. He is your son and I can not do anything about it. I can not take that away from you,"

He rests his head on her thighs. "I was so damn scared. I thought you would react differently,"

"It doesn't mean that you will be connected to your ex. Yes you two will now be co-parenting but that doesn't mean that you will be together or something. I understand love and..,"

"Emily wants to live here..," Adrian says in a hesitant tone.

"What! No way Adrian! She is not coming here..I will not accept that! Why ? I mean..Why would she even want that?"

"I know. It's absurd. I refused but she threatened to take the baby away if I do not allow them to come live here,"

Hayley gets up from the bed and puts her nighties back. "Do something about it Adrian,"

"Baby. My baby will be taken away. I have not been in his life for the seven years and I can not allow her to deny me seeing my son anymore. Would you want that?"

"Then buy her a house or something,"

"I offered everything but she just wouldn't accept anything! She wants to live here and that is her final decision,"

"Okay ! I will be leaving then!"

Adrian gets up from the bed and stands in front of her. " Do you know what that means? You would crash me if you left,"
