The boxer falls out of Adrian's grasp as his attention focuses on Hayley's. A notes is attached and Hayley bends down to pick it.

"You forgot this at my place. Emily, " The note reads. Her hands tremble as she drops the paper on the ground tears escaping her eyes.  She walks hurriedly to the staircase leaving Adrian standing there his stern face confused.

Adrian calls behind her but she avoids  him and locks the door behind her. Why would she have his boxers! Why was he at her place! Why would he lie to her that nothing happened between them.

Adrian walks in her room and kneels in front of her and places his hands on her thighs.
"Baby..Let me explain,"

Hayley avoids eye contact with him and throws off his hands off of her. She doesn't say a word. The tears on her eyes are already choking her and if she opens her mouth to talk she will completely break down. The thought of Adrian sleeping with his ex is planted on her mind and it is not pleasing at all.

"I was broken when I left you at Cassie's,"

She draws a huge breath.
"And you decided to take off your stress by sleeping with your ex?"

"Let me explain," Adrian narrates the whole story to her. She doesn't say a word. She waits until he is done talking.

Adrian takes her in his arms as he wipes the tears on her face. " You lied to me! You fucking liar!" She tries to break off his grasp.

"I know! I'm a total dick! I knew if you found out that I did you would leave me okay?"

His tone is serious.

He raises his eyebrows to her in questioning if she believes him or not.

"Baby Emily took advantage of my state. I couldn't remember anything. Please forgive me. Will you?"

Hayley batters off the tears threatening to Cascade again.

"It hurts so much Adrian,"

"I know baby. I know. And I'm willing to do anything to make it up to you. Please forgive me,"

His pleading is already affecting her. She can't stand watching him there kneeling on his knees.

"I hope I won't have to hear from her again! She has to stay away from you Adrian,"

"I will make sure of that!" He stands up and pulls her up and embraces her in a tight hug.

"I think I will be going over at Cassie's if you do not mind,"

"If that will cool your mind off then yes. I will have Louis drive you there,"

"I don't want to bother anyone. I can take a cab,"

"Are you even listening to yourself! How can the King's queen take a cab when he has different cars where his queen can choose! She can even get one to herself if she likes,"

Hayley frowns playfully at him. "Stop that! And please don't get me a car! What would I even do with it! I don't know how to ride a bicycle let alone a car,"

Adrian pulls her closer to him.
"Don't worry about that. I will have it taken care off,"

Hayley gets into the car and sits shotgun. The drive to Cassie's is short since the whole time she's engaged in a conversation with Louis.

"You guys are back already!" Cassie shouts from the kitchen as she fishes her out a drink.

"Adrian is a busy man! I'm sure when the holidays come along we will have much more time to ourselves,"
