Chapter 4

"So were saposses to talk about the project but I wanna know about you." Dinah said smiling at me.

"Why theres nothing really exciting about me. I'm a depressed normal teenage girl, Nothing new." I said playing with my fingers.  "Tell me about you. "

"Alright Well My Name is Dinah Jane Hansen, I live with 23 people. Im the oldest of my family, I'm a sophomore but im taking  junior English."

"Wow 23 people! Thats alot of people, and you must be smart to take junior English. " I said looking into her beautiful hazelish brown eyes.

"I don't wanna brag but yeah im pretty awesome." She said while giggling.

"Yeah sure you are. So about our project wanna get together sometime and start it? " I said staring at my fingers. I don't know why but they seemed interesting.

"Yeah sure heres my phone put you number in." She gave me her phone and i put my number in.

The bell rings soon after. I say bye to Dinah and leave for lunch.

Once I get to lunch I see Ally and Normani smiling and wavy at me. Damn, this is gonna be a long lunch.

"Hey Laur hows your day been so far?" Normani asked with a mouth full of food.

"Sucks just like every other day, and can you please swollow before you talk to me thats discusting." I said in an agrivated voice. Normani and Ally started talking about guys and all that shit. I just ate my food and scrolled through facebook on my phone. While I was on facebook my phone vibrated notifying me that I have a text.

(L = Lauren. D = Dinah)

Hey Is this Lauren? -D

Whos asking? -L

Its Dinah -D

Then yes it's Lauren -L

Thank god! You scared me I thought I just texted a random person who could rape me! -D

How do you know I won't rape you? I -L

I was about to answertwhen the bell rung signaling the end if lunch. Right when I walked in to class I took a seat. Im in science. I hate science especially Biology its so boring! Right qmwhen I was about to take a nap my phone vibrated.

Miss Jauregui! Is there something you like to share with the class? My stupid teacher asked. I made eye contact with her and then went back to texting.

Shit You got me intouble! She's waiting for me to answer  Wish me luck! Im gonna piss her off! I need some fun today! -L 

"Miss Jauregui! I don't appreciate you texting during my lesson! "

"I don't appreciate you teaching a lesson while im texting! "

"Get out. Get out of my class! Principal will love for you to stop by for a visit."

"Yes I get to leave this class! Thanks Mrs. Pearl! See you tomorrow!" I yell while leaving and walking down the hallway.

I get to the office and wait for the principal to end his meeting.

"Lauren, come in please." Principal Wale says while opening the door.

"Please take a seat." He says motioning to a seat facing his desk.

"So Lauren, tell me why you were sent here? "

"I was caught texting. And Mrs Pearl said she didnt appreciate me texting during her class, and I said I don't appreciate her teaching while I was texting, she then told me to get out and I cheered because I got to leave. "

"Lauren she's just trying to teach you. You should take the opportunity. I don't know how your a straight A student due to the daily visits from you. Your such a bright young lady, I just don't understand why you have to prove a point all the time?"

"Because I've had Mrs Pearl all four years of highschool and she gets on my nervs!" I said with an annoyed tone to my voice.

"Lauren you do it to all your teachers, yes it is more towrds Mrs. Pearl, but still you need to stop. Its nkt doing you any good." I just sat there and waited for my punishment.

"Alright sense its the first Day of junior  year im letting you off with a warning. You need to get ride of this smartass attitudes because we're not gonna put up with it this year!" I just nodded and walked out of his office.

Science class is gonna be over in 30 minutes but fuck it I'm not going back. I decided to lay in the middle of the hall way like a starfish and stare at the gross ceiling.

Nope, He let me off the hook because its the first day. -L

Are you seriously still texting in class after getting intouble?! -D

Hey your texting in class! And no im not going back to that stupid class. Im acctually laying like a starfish in the middle of the hallway. -L

Then ask to go to the bathroom and come see. -L

With that I put my phone away and closed my eyes. After maybe 5 minutes I hear a cute giggle coming from someone. I open my eyes to see who it is.

"Wow you wernt joking when you said you were laying in the middle of the hallway. " Dinah said while trying to suppress her laughter.

"Correction I said 'I was lyaing like a starfish in the middle of the hall way' gosh get it right." I said while staring up at the ceiling.

"My apologies." Dinah said while laying down next to me.

"No way! I'm not having a 'Notebook' moment with you!" I said sitting up.

"Oh come on! I'd make such a great Noah."

"Why do you get to be Noah!? I wanna be Noah!" I said crossing my arms like a toddler. I don't know what it is about Dinah but she brings something out of me.

"Fine! Haha you can be Noah!"

"Yes!!! " I cheered throwing up my hands in victory.

"Only because ypur adorble when you pout. " With that the bell rang and kids started flooding Hallways. We quickly got up so qmwe didnt get trampled to death.

"Well I better go.See you around 'Noah'!" Dinah yelled while running down the hall way. I just mentally laughed to myself. Gid she's amazing!
