i was home alone as my sister Tina (15) was at her friends for the night and mum and dad were out for a date and wouldn't be home till 1:00am.
feeling tied right after dinner so around 7 i went to my bedroom which i shared with Tina and watched t.v. i was watching a movie i can't remember what it was but i new it was a long one they wouldn't be over till 2 am. setting my controller onto my sisters bed i allowed myself to fall sleep.
at around 12:00am i woke up to the T.V blaring. although it wasn't the movie i'd fell asleep watching. it was an image of an old man, he was murdering who looked like a child. i turned it over to another channel thinking it was a murder documentary. the same thing played on another channel. so i turned it off completely. soon falling asleep.
i woke up again at 4:30am. i looked at the T.V to see the same thing playing. i checked what it was called it was just a name. 'Anna Richard' i made a mental note to check it out tomorrow with Tina. we were practically best friends and both loved the paranormal.
when she came home the next day i told her everything, she agreed it was creepy and decided to check it out with me. going over to her laptop and googling the name. an article came up and it was horrific.
Anna Richard :
the four year old girl was found dead in her home (insert address). her single father later confessed to killing her. his other daughter went missing 7 months before. she was never found.
we looked at each other uncomfortably. "maybe don't sleep with the T.V on." she laughed a little as we came to realise the video was a real one of this man murdering his child. we never turned the T.V on at night again. both kind of scared.

my best friend Jaya, Bella, Jake (sisters bf) and izzy were all having a sleepover in my bedroom. my friends were close to my sister so it wasn't awkward. at around 7 we ordered pizza and watched a movie on my T.V. the controller sat on my desk so no one could touch it. at around 10 Izzy asked Jake if he wanted to watch a horror movie. he said yes and we watched one until 2:30 in the morning when Jaya, Izzy and Tina we're asleep so it was just Bella, Jake and i awake.
i said i wanted to go to sleep and they both wanted to keep the T.V on. in slight anxiety i agreed and went to sleep lying against Bella.
i woke up at around 4:03 to hear a scream. it was coming from Jaya and she had woken everyone up. i looked at Tina knowingly.
we saw everyone staring in horror but it wasn't the same girl as before. it was a brown haired girl about 7-9. it was the same man though. i looked at the name. "Ella Richard" it showed the man... he was eating something. another scream was heard from Izzy as we realised it was she girl he was eating. his missing daughter.
our parents walked in upon hearing screams and saw, explaining it was very terrifying and wrong. they called the police gave the T.V in as evidence. we've never had a T.V in our room since. although neither of us miss it.
