"Abbie?" i looked at her, "what?" i asked aggressively, "look. do you want it for our room?" she asked, pointing to an old black wooden mirror. "yeah that's cute!" i grinned taking it from her smaller hands.
That night : no ones p.0.v ~
"goodnight girls." Lea (their mom) smiled softly as she gave her 15 year old and 9 year old a hug."Abbie be quite !" Emmy said suddenly once in the room alone. "what Emmy i wasn't making noise." Emmy looked at Abbie who was still at the door. "oh, then what's the noise by the window?" Abbie shrugged and got into bed. "outside i presume. come on now sleep." Emmy sighed and went to sleep.
at 4:15am Abbie woke up to the feeling of being watched. she looked at Emmy and saw she was sleeping soundly. she looked all around and saw and heard nothing. she got up for some water.
she passed her parents room. only her dad was there. she looked all around and checked even the bathroom. her mother wasn't there. "dad where's mom?" Abbie poked her dad in the ribs. "isn't she here?" Abbie explained and he got up. "must be in the shop." he said worriedly. "go to bed. i don't want to worry Emmy." he said smartly.
passing the mirror on her way to bed she saw something in the mirror, her reflection was there. her moms was. "mom?" Abbie whispered. "Abbie!" her mother screamed. "mom?" then the reflection went black and it was here again. she started to have a panic attack so she went to the living room to calm down. then went to bed.
Next morning:
"mom!" Abbie screeched as soon as she woke up. "Abbie what's wrong?" Lea answered worriedly. "are you okay?" Lea nodded, rubbing Abbies back. "i'm fine." Abbie nodded. "must of been a dream." she exclaimed knowing her dad would be too proud to admit he searched for someone who was there the whole time."see you after school." the girls parents smiled brightly. "bye!"
"it was really scary. i remember the panic attack!" Abbie told her best friend Mia at lunch. "i know, it was a dream." Mia reassured.
Home :
"where is the mirror?" Abbie asked, seeing it wasn't in her room. "Abbie the mirror is the basement. in your living room." Emmy told her. "why is it there?" "because it was scaring you at night." Emmy shrugged. "want to watch a movie down there with me?" Emmy asked. "sure!" Abbie agreed."girls do you want to sleep here tonight?" Patric asked. "no thanks dad." Abbie disagreed. "okay. go to bed now then." he said and the girls complied. "i want to stay here." Emmy said suddenly. "why?" Abbie asked aggravated. "fun! i'll sleep on the couch!" Emmy beamed. going back down to her blankets and pop corn.
12:15am : Abbie ~
i woke up to the sound of screaming. it was Emmy. i ran down to the basement and saw she was gone. "Emmy?" i call no response. "Emmy!" she wasn't there. "Abbie? i was in the bathroom." she justified. "i saw a spider. dad killed it!" Emmy smiled. "will you stay here?" Abbie shrugged and sat down. "for a while. we have school tomorrow." the sisters watched movies and shared some secrets. "it's 2am. i'm gonna go to bed. you should too." i told her.i fell asleep pretty fast actually. not sure what i dreamed of before i woke up again. it was 5am when i woke up. it was Emmy.
i got mom and dad sense neither were with her. "Emmy!" we all screamed running to the basement. she wasn't there. "i'll check the bathroom!" i said before looking at the mirror. Emmy was in it. "Emmy!" my parents saw her too but after 2 seconds she was gone. "Emmy! i'm calling the police!" mum said. "and say what? my daughter is in a mirror?" dad screamed. "we have to smash it." | "no! what if it kills her!" i screamed. "police!" my mom said grabbing her phone.
2 months later:
we keep the mirror at the front door now. Emmy see us sometimes. she is still in it. the police saw too. no one knows how to get her out though."Abbie!" Emmy screamed. "smash it!" i stared at her sadly. "no, you know i can't."
3 years later:
she's still there. her dead body smiled at me today. it scared me at first. now i'm used to my little sisters dead body teasing me. my parents are too. i'm tempted to go in myself. maybe i'll die too. maybe i'll get to hug her one more time. maybe she ain't dead. i don't know. i hope she gets out one day.
