Kehlani scrunched up her face as her best friend Jahseh was telling her they couldn't be friends anymore. "what why? did i do something?" she asked. "no its just Geneva doesn't like you so i have to drop you." he informed. "your really choosing her over me?" she asked in disbelief he nodded. "okay." she mumbled opening the door for him. "bye." she stated. he looked at her and sighed before walking out of the house.
she slammed her door shut and locked it. "he just started dating her 2 days ago and he already just-." she cut herself off groaning in irritation. she shook her head and sat down on her sofa turning on the tv and watching Mickey Mouse since it was the first thing that appeared on the tv after it came on. she couldn't really focus thinking of how she lost her best friend of basically years.
months later
Kehlani waved her new group of friends bye with a smile as she walked to her car fresh out of school. in the distance she'd seen Jahseh waiting for her leaning on her vehicle. she was kind of confused considering they hadn't spoke in months since he ended their friendship. sure they passed each other in the halls but she never really gave him a glance because she was occupied with her friends.
Jahseh soon realize that he didn't like not having her attention or not hearing her yell at him for doing something dumb. he hated being away from her and he made a dumb mistake all for a girl who wasn't even loyal to him through out their relationship. "excuse me." she spoke as he was leaning on the driver door. "you can't say hey?" he asked tilting his head.
"hey, now can you please move." she asked. "naw i think i'll stay right here." he said. "i have to baby sit today so please i'll appreciate it if you'd leave me alone." she spoke looking at him. "why you acting like we're strangers?" he questioned. she sighed. "i'm not it's just i have things to do and your stopping that." she muttered. "can we hang out tomorrow?" he asked. "no we have school." she answered.
"let's skip, you know just like old times." Jahseh said smiling a little. she stared at him in thought. "no your girl friend wouldn't be too happy with that." she stated. "i'm single." he informed. "oh well find somebody else." Kehlani shrugged. "please." he begged. she rolled her eyes. "yes now leave me alone."
