Julia was having her ice cream in a cone when Liam sat beside her. She rolled her eyes at him and ignored him. But Liam chose not to be ignored.

"I have chocolates for everyone, Leni, Shasha, and for my darling Julia," Liam said deliberately saying her name as if it's the most wonderful name in the world as he distributed the chocolates around.

"And some fries too for my baby girl," Liam winked at her. "I've heard ice cream and fries go well together," Liam said as he opened the Mc Donalds paper bag that he has brought with him.

Julia hardened her heart. She knew what Liam is up to. She can see his ex at the corner looking at them. There are also some girls on the other table who are just plain annoying and eyeing them as if they are watching another episode of Netflix.

Liam got closer to her so she leaned away from him and by doing so he got the opportunity to put his mouth on her ice cream. "That's gross," she exclaimed as she took some fries he placed on the table and ate them.

"What's so gross about it, when we already have kissed," Liam retorted in her ears. She struggled not to be affected by his nearness so she feigned as if nothing happened as she shared the fries to everyone.

She looked at her ice cream where Liam has taken a bite and decided to throw it away but that flavor is no longer available so she braved it out and put her mouth on the other side.

"So, what movie have you recently watched?" Liam asked Leni and Shasha. They right away discussed about the movie they have watched in common. The storyline, the cinematography, etc.

As Leni continued to engage them with the merits of the Movie Hunger Games Liam also continued to take control of her hand as he would swing it to his direction so he could continue to eat her ice cream while he interacted with her friends.

She caught Leni's questioning eyes as she and Liam ate her ice cream. It was only later that she realized how intimate it must have looked to the others, sharing the ice cream with him. With Liam holding her hand as he ate and licked off the melted ice cream on his side of the cone where she too would do the same on her side of the ice cream cone but often Liam would rotate the cone so he could control the melting on her side too. He was taking small bites until they have finished the ice cream where she let Liam ate the last of the cone as he seemed unmindful that he had eaten most of her ice cream.

She blushed at that realization causing Liam to look at her and raise his eyebrow at her questioningly. She shook her head telling him it was nothing.

But Liam knew why she blushed. So he put his arms around her waist as he usually does to irritate her. And as always she will react to push him away. And as always it would bring a smile to his face whenever she does that. And so it goes back to him as an annoying pest to her side. And it completely erases the intimacy that they have shared.

That action and reaction have been their "normal" and often observed by others on the campus, some would want to look at them making a fool of each other and some would just turn their head away ignoring them. Except for her friends who knew the extent of her feelings on how she truly felt for Liam.

Some of her friends were asking about the pictures and if Liam and her are now a couple but she just repeatedly told them that it was just Liam's annoying self again and that kiss doesn't mean anything at all, but they look at her unbelievingly.

But for those friends and classmates in their Math class they knew what Liam is up to. Julia is seated next to his ex and so when he started showing his attention to her they knew what Liam is trying to do. And just found his actions hilariously-pathetic.

But they all agreed that it was sweet how Liam is treating Julia and that some of the girls in school would even be willing to be in her shoes any day. Although they sometimes found it annoying when Liam starts to recite poetry whenever he will give her the chocolates during their Math class.

Well, public declaration of love can be annoying when it's clearly done to get back at someone else.
