"Take you hands off me, you idiot!" Julia said through her teeth. She struggles to keep her temper in check as she tried to get a good shot of the buffet area.
"Common, I thought you have forgiven me already, that was an expensive chocolate I gave you," Liam said as he keeps his hold on her waist. Liam has been giving her chocolates every day in school and would always do it during math class. And she knew why he would do it during their Math class. His ex-girlfriend who dumped him is also in the same class.
"Why don't you take the shot yourself? Make sure that every angle is captured." She gives her phone to Liam so he could take the shot. Liam is the school photographer and has given the school numerous awards on photo- journalism contest. If anyone who can do a better job it would be him.
As Liam accepted the phone she automatically keeps her distance from him. That way, she can stop him from touching her. It seems that Liam has already taken so much liberty at holding her to him. He would often snake his hand around her waist whenever he catches her in the cafeteria or in their Math class when he will give her the chocolates. It annoyed her and he seems to enjoy it. Liam realizing her purpose laughed but take the pictures anyway.
After taking the pictures Liam moved closer to the table and inspected the array of the serving dishes and the decor then run his hands along the fabric used for the table skirting. She got closer to him to know what he thought of the whole arrangement. But instead, Liam smiled and snaked his hand around her then said, "I like this kind of arrangement for our wedding too."
That, is the Liam that she knew too well. So she removes his hand from her then she reached for her camera. But Liam has something else in his mind, taking his own camera he takes her pictures as she scowled at him for doing so. But it didn't deter him, he followed her wherever she goes and just took a snapshot of her at every angle he likes.
"Really Liam, stop!!!" and when he did not she gets near him and tries to take his camera so she can delete the pictures that he took.
But in the process, she out balanced and landed on the grass almost toppling the table and chairs near her. This has caused a raucous, and Liam was laughing hard at her predicament.
Angrily, she gathered enough grasses that she can pull and throw them at Liam, who have snickered and laughed at her attempts.
"I really hate you Liam!" she snapped at him and stood up.
Her mother had arrived at that moment and she too was smiling. "Really mother, it isn't funny."
"No, I'm sorry. Are you hurt?" Her mother asked sincerely.
Liam had stood up and now is approaching them. She narrowed her eyes at him but he just ignored her and went straight to her mother.
"I'm Liam by the way. This is Julia's phone, she asked me to take pictures of the set-up you have here." Liam said as he hands her cell phone to her mother.
"Wow, these are amazing. Thank you Liam, I'm Judith by the way, Julia's mother." Her mother offered her hand to Liam for a handshake.
"How are you related to the bride, Liam?" My mother asked. This event is an RSVP so I guess my mother is curious why Liam is here.
I have often told my mother how some guy is always harassing me. Somehow I have mentioned a name. And now my mother's curiosity is peaked. She has asked if she needs to go to the principal about it but since I said no physical harm has been involved she agreed to let it slide for a moment.
"She's my sister actually," Liam answered.
At those words, I looked around and realized that this big mansion in the elite side of town is the home of my frienemy.
