"Shit Cass, you clean up well," JJ chuckled, eyes transfixed on the girl in front of him. John B wolf-whistled at the two girls in front of them, while Pope was busy staring in awe at Kiara. The girls had gone back to get ready for the kegger at Kiara's house. Cassidy was wearing a black crop top that hugged her curves a bit tighter than her usual outfits, as the shirt was borrowed from Kiara. She was also wearing a medium wash denim skirt with her favorite white converses. Kiara on the other hand, had taken the more casual option and was sporting a white tee shirt and ripped jean shorts.

"Alright ladies, it's your time to shine," hollered John B, nodding his head towards the rundown liquor store that the group frequented. The group found that it was much easier for the girls to get the old man behind the counter to overlook their terrible fake IDs than it was for the boys.

Kiara and Cassidy walked towards the store in a comfortable silence until Kiara blurted out, "What's going on with you and JJ?".

Cassidy looked at the girl with amusement before responding, "What's going on with you and John B?"

"I have no idea," Kiara responded, shaking her head in confusion and annoyance.

"Yup, same here," Cassidy laughs sending the girl a sympathetic smile.

The girls approach the door of the liquor store and Cassidy quickly pulled her top down slightly, revealing more cleavage. Kiara sent the girl a look of judgment and Cassidy just shrugged. When you didn't have a lot of money, you had to find inventive ways for people to give you discounts. The girls stepped into the store and were immediately met with the stench of old beer and body odor. Cassidy's eyes wandered to the shelf of chips up near the front and quickly grabbed a pack of barbeque chips for JJ. The girls approached the counter where a chubby man in his late 40's sat, staring at the two girls in a way that made Cassidy feel like she needed a shower.  The brunette threw the chips onto the counter and leaned over slightly, sending the man a toothy grin.

"One keg, please."

...............

"Shit guys, I don't know how you do it. Whenever I try to buy a beer there, they always just laugh at me," Pope complained to the group while he helped the boys carry the keg through the sand and onto a clear spot in the Boneyard.

"Try growing some tits," JJ remarks and playfully pats Pope on the back while Kiara quickly tapped the keg. JJ picked up the nozzle and aimed it jokingly at Cassidy.

"Don't you dare," Cassidy warned the grinning boy. That was all it took for the boy to spray her with the beer and send it all over her shirt.

"Oh, you're so dead," the girl threatened playfully, starting to walk menacingly towards him. He quickly ran but despite her short legs, she was much quicker than him and jumped on his back, toppling him over. "Gotcha"

"No, I think I've got you," he whispered before quickly flipping them over so he was hovering over her, making sure not to put too much weight onto the girl. His face was so close to hers, that their noses were brushing up against each other and they were breathing each other's air. His eyes glanced down to her lips and he rested his hands on either side of her body. Her heart was beating out of her chest and just as she felt herself leaning in, John B called out from the keg.

"Come on guys, we have to be responsible and pass out beer to these underage kids," he called out, not understanding the irony of that statement.

"Duty calls," JJ muttered and slowly pulled himself off of Cassidy, leaving her cold and breathless on the sand.

It didn't take long for a large crowd to form on the beach after the news had spread of there being a party. On a normal night, Cassidy would have been dancing with her friends and flirting with any attractive boy she could find, but that night only one boy was occupying her mind. She stayed, strewn out on the beach for quite a while, earning weird looks from pogues and kooks alike. Her thoughts of the past few days were interrupted when she felt someone sit down next to her on the damp sand.
