Thank you for the request! I hope you enjoy!

Zach: *His POV* I smirked as I set up my latest prank on my brother. Cody had gotten mad at me for the billionth time over literally nothing, so I decided he needed to chill out, literally. I had rigged a bucket full of ice cold water to tip over a door frame when it's opened. It took me a little bit to figure out which door to use, but I finally decided to use the classroom door. Cody is always the first one in the classroom, he's there even before Mrs. Tutweiler, which is kind of pathetic.

I finally got the bucket to balance just right on the door frame. Now all there is to do is wait. Oh this is going to be so good! I made my way to a desk that is out of sight if you happen to be walking by, but from the desk you can still see the door. I heard footsteps right outside the door. I quickly got my cell phone out of my pocket and began recording, because I mean, one day he'll look back and laugh... one day... Anyhoo.

The door creaked open and the bucket tipped over perfectly and soaked the person who walked through the door. The prank went perfectly... The only problem... It's not my stupid brother that just walked through the door. A screeched I've never heard before sounded from the doorway. I quickly hit the end record button and looked up at the person who just ruined my perfect prank. "What the HECK!" The person shouted, "Of course! My first day at a new school away from bullies and one of the first things that happen to me is I get pranked!" they shouted, mostly to themselves.

"If it makes me feel better, you weren't the one that was supposed to get pranked," I offered up. Their head whipped to me, causing a few drops of water to fly from their hair, "Oh yeah. It totally makes up for the fact I'm now soaking in freezing cold water. In fact, I'm now feeling quite dry" the accidental prankie sassed. I let out a nervous chuckle and moved toward them slowly, "Okay so that was kind of dumb. I am really sorry though. The prank was meant for my twin brother who's been getting on my nerves. He's usually the first one through the door. Today it just so happened to be you." I explained, wringing my hands. The new person sighed, ran a hand through their hair and took a couple steps forward, "I'm still pissed that I'm wet, but I can appreciate a good prank. So I guess I forgive you" they said in an exasperated tone.

They smiled and offered me their hand, "I'm Y/N, I'm new" I took their hand and shook it, "I'm-" "ZACH MARTIN!" A voice shouted from behind Y/N. Y/N turned around to find my twin brother and Mrs. Tutweiler standing there. "What is the meaning of this?" Mrs. T questioned, her hands on her hips. I shrugged, "I was trying to prank Cody." I admitted honestly. Cody let out a gasp in offense, but Mrs. T just pinched the bridge of her nose and shook her head. "I don't know why I'm still here... Y/N, I'm so sorry you got caught in the middle of this. Zach, please escort Y/N here to go get a towel and to get into some dry clothes. Then actually come back for class. And then you get to stay after for half an hour of detention." Mrs. T demanded.

"Of course Mrs. T. Let's go Y/N" I said, beginning out of the door. Y/N laughed, but followed me. After we were a few feet away from the classroom Y/N spoke up, "Okay but please tell me we're not actually going to go back to class." I glanced over my shoulder with a smirk, "You know what Y/N. I think we're going to be really great friends"

Cody: "I'm sorry Y/N, but you're failing math." Mrs. T explained gently to me. I sighed in defeat. I knew that my grade was going down, but you can't blame me! Conic sections are hard and I just don't get them! "I want to do good!" I tried to explain to Mrs. T. I opened my mouth to continue but my teacher simply held her hand up, "I know you do Y/N, which is why I've asked Cody Martin to come in and tutor you. I think that hearing this stuff being explained by a peer will be beneficial to you in this subject." I let out another sigh and sank back in my chair.
