"Changbin! It's a plastic horse; it can't hurt you."
Changbin stared at the three plastic horses in front of him, which, according to Felix, were named Cherry, Simon, and Pandora. Odd names for plastic horses, but neither boy wanted to critique past-Felix's ideas.
"What do you mean, 'it can't hurt you'? Pandora looks like she's ready to rip my heart out," Changbin exclaimed, wildly pointing at the soulless eyes of the duck-sized horse.
Felix shook his head, laughing to himself. "Silly Chinnie, you only have to fight three. Not the full ten. Just go for it; I think fighting ten would be a lot worse. You'd probably—"
"No more commentary needed, Zommer."
"Stop calling me that in person," Felix whined. "You know it's annoying. Call me Felix or Lix or Lixie or something. Anything but Zommer."
"Lixie?"
Felix smiled. "The Changbin has spoken. I am now Lixie."
Laughing, "The Changbin" eyed the horses once more. Felix picked one up and threw it at the older boy, causing him to squeal and put his arms up.
"You'll pay for this, Lixie."
"Yeah, right. You couldn't hurt a fly, much less a human being."
"You're implying that you're human."
Felix grinned, cheeky. "You haven't even known me for twenty-four hours, and you're already calling me out-of-this-world. Lay back a little with the flirting, Binnie. I know I'm desirable as hell; you don't need to tell me."
Changbin snorted, pretending that the nickname didn't affect him.
"Plus," Felix added, "I'm going to be nice. All you have to do is fight Simon."
"Which one is Simon?" Changbin asked. Both of the horses—the ones that weren't half-melted, like Pandora—looked the same to him. "That one?"
Felix shook his head. "This is Simon," he said, showing the horse to Changbin. "Simon says he wants to fight you."
"What if I don't want to fight Simon?"
"Simon says stop killing the vibe," Felix said with a pout. He put Simon's nose against Changbin's as the latter's face heated up.
Changbin and the horse fought, odd as though it was. Felix controlled Simon's kicks, and Changbin actually seemed to be losing. Finally, he poked a finger at Felix's chest, causing him to collapse in giggles.
Finally, victory was Changbin's!
When the boxing match was over, the pair of boys collapsed onto Felix's bed, laughing. "Why didn't we become friends until today? You're, like, such an epic person," Felix wondered. Changbin smiled at the compliment. "Maybe you're just too antisocial for me."
"Wow, that diss. Thanks."
Felix tapped his head, thinking for a while. Changbin actually began wondering if he'd fallen asleep while doing the motion.
"Binnie! You never did that headstand."
"Binnie" groaned, realizing that Felix was right. "Do I have to?" he whined.
Felix nodded, so Changbin stood up and pressed his arms against the wall. He was on his head for a grand total of two seconds before falling over.
"Good enough?"
"No, but I'm a nice person, so I'll let it slide."
"Gee, thanks."
Felix grinned. "Always. Tickle fight?"
Just the idea made Changbin want to puke, but he would do it for his new friend. "Sure, Lixie. But be warned; I'm a good tickler."
"Is that a challenge?"
It shouldn't have been hard to guess what Felix continued with once Changbin had verified that it was, in fact, a challenge.
"Well, in that case... it's on, Binnie."
