Chapter 2 - Here's the amulet

"It's time to awaken Priness" Sandra came in opening my blinds.

"Not now Sandra, I'm still sleepy" I whine.

"But Princess the King and Queen are preparing to dispatch" Sandra explains and I fly out of bed, opening the door to come face to face with my parents.

"We thought you might've slept in" My father chuckled.

"Here is the amulet, take good care of it." My Mother placed the portable case in my hand.

"I will!" I hug them both. "Bye Mother, Bye Father" I kiss them both on the cheek. "Enjoy the ball!" I shout as they walk off.

"Yes, Yes Yes!" I dance around with the amulet glued to my hand.

"Hey Tatti can you..." I paused when I realized Tatti's gone. "Oh right" I frown. "Who needs her?! I can do this on my own!" I place the amulet underneath my mattress. No one is going to suspect that it is there. I hear a knock on my door.

"Come in!"

"Good afternoon Princess, we have good news and bad news" Von announced.

"I'd like to hear the good news please."

"The good news is that The King approved of the gibbet."

"That's exhilarating! And the bad news?"

"The prisoner that was supposed to be gibbeted escaped" he frowned.

"What are you guards good for? Please leave!" I don't need any stress today, I've just been given one of the biggest responsibilities of my life.

"Yes Princess"

I bounce on my bed grabbing my phone to call my Ellis.

"Hey baby, I'm kind of busy right now I can't talk"

"I got the amulet!" I giggle.

"oh really?"

"Yea! Since you can't talk right now I'll call you later"

"No No No! I can finish the talk, I was doing something just now but I'm done, so did you put it in someplace safe?"

"Yes" I giggle. "Guess where it is"

"A vault?"

"No silly! Underneath my mattress"

"Wow that's a very... smart place to put an amulet that has God-like powers"

"I know!" I giggle.

"Princess!" I hear Sandra call me from my bathroom.

"Oh I got to go, love you" I hang up and go towards the bathroom.

"Yes?"

"Your bath water is ready, warm just the way you like it" She smiled.

"Thank you Sandra, is my dress picked out for the day? I trust I don't have to tell you which one because you already know what I like" I smiled

"of course Princess, I'll have your dress and heels on the bed for when you're ready" She smiled and left. Once I'm done with my daily 45-minute bath I wrap my body with my towel and brush my teeth. When I'm gone I head back into my room to get dressed for the day. Sandra picked out a baby blue dress for me with Gold heels. Putting on my right heel I hear a knock on the door.

"Come in" I say but no one enters. Five seconds later I hear the knock again and storm to the door.

"I said come i..." I open the door to see Ellis smirking.

"What are you doing here?" I grin.

"Wanted to see you" he said before crashing his lips on mine. His lips felt soft and sweet. He closes my door and kisses me passionately until we've reached the bed.

"How cute" The lady dressed in dark orange and black appeared.

"Who's she?" Ellis asked me panting hardly.

"I don't know! Who are you?!" I shout at the lady.

"Oh Your little mommy and daddy didn't tell you about me?" she cackles. "I'm Evelyn, your Fathers one and only true love. Your Mother was just a downgrade" she laughs. "I believe you have something that I want" She paced back and forth.

"No I don't" I glare. "Go away" I shoo

"Oh but I believe you do" She smirked. "Where's the amulet?" she glared, wiping the smirk from her face.

"I have no amulet" I lied.

"Poor girl" she cackled. She did a spell causing my mattress to fly. With me and Ellis being on the mattress, we flew to the wall.

"Well to my surprise, here it is" She laughed. "Didn't your parents ever teach you that it's not good to lie" she scorned.

"Give that back!" I run towards her, but she cast the spell again causing me to fly into the wall.

"ta-ta" she waved before disappearing out of my window, just when the guards burst in.

"Princess! Are you okay?!" Von came to help me up.

"No I'm not" I yuck my hand away from him.

"What happened?" one of the other guards asked.

"Some lady came in and took the magic amulet! Seriously what are you guards good for?!" I storm out of the room.

"Kylie! Kylie wait up!" Ellis calls.

"Where are you going?" He asks.

"To get the amulet back!"

"You can't storm out here without a plan, we don't even know who she is she could kill you!"

"I rather die than admit my Mother was right. Are you going to help me or what?"

"I'll help you. Under one condition."

"Name it"

"You Marry me" he smiled and got down on one knee. "I didn't only come over here because I wanted to see you. Kylie, you light up my world, opened up my eyes to a whole other perspective, you better me every second I'm with you, it will warm my heart if you accept this"

"Yes!" I nod tearing up. "I'll marry you" I hug him.

"Beautiful" he smirked. "Let's go make a plan"
