I was laying flat on my back, trying to process what I just had dreamt. What the hell was wrong with me? I could still feel the excitement from "kissing" Chase. His lips were so soft, his body so tight and warm. And his words ... Damn, I got shivers just from thinking about them.

But none of it was real...

And I couldn't ignore the fact that a tiny part of me was disappointed, even how awful that was. Or was it really that bad? I mean, Chase was identical to Blake, so if I was attracted to Chase then that had to be fine. Or?

Yes, it was fine. And start overthinking the whole dream was nothing but a waste of time.

I looked over to Jades bed, only to notice that it was empty. The sun was shining through the window, making it clear to me that it was daytime. But what was the time? I grabbed after my phone. It was ... 13:14 a.m.! What?! Never before had I slept that long. Why hadn't anyone waked me up? We had plans for the day, no time to waste!

I quickly got out of bed, jumping into some clothes, a blue, flower printed skirt and a white tank top.

When getting out of the bedroom and into the living room, I saw Jade and Chase sitting by the kitchen counter talking and Darren and Blake on the couch.

"Kate!" Blake said as he saw me. His eyes lit up which warmed my heart. "You're up."

Jade turned to me with a smile, placing her hand on her hip. "Finally."

"Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked them, a bit upset that I made them wait so long.

"Blake insisted that we'd let you sleep," Jade answered and grabbed a beach bag. "But now we have waited long enough. Let's get going."

Blake blushed a little and grabbed my hands when moving closer to me. "You slept well? No nightmares?" he joked.

I swallowed, peeking over to Chase who still was sitting by the kitchen counter staring at his phone. I felt guilty. As if I actually had kissed him, got naked with him and ... well, almost made werewolf babies with him...

"No nightmares," I said, quickly. "You?"

Chase mad a scene out of getting up from his stool chair. "Blake slept perfectly fine," he said walking past us. "Now please, stop chit chatting and let's get out on the water before the sun sets." As he passed us, he looked into my eyes for a moment, letting his eyes go over my body. "You look good today," he said. I swallowed and watched him walk out the door, wearing an open yellow shirt and white shorts.

That was weird.

Blake made a disgusted breath.

"Is he still ... upset?" I asked him, a bit concerned.

Blake held on tighter to my hands. "Nah, I think he's back to being normal rude Chase again."

I nodded. "Cool."

We just looked at each other for a moment, and I noticed Blakes underlip shaking a bit. But then he suddenly leaned in and kissed me gently on the lips.

I blushed a little as he pulled away, a feeling of pure happiness filling me. I could definitely get used to this.

"Let's go now," he said, and we both got out.

We had planned to go boating today. Apparently, Blake and Chase had their own boat that they had gotten from their parents for their sixteenth birthday, which we were going to take full advantage of today.

It was a bit windy today, but still very hot. Blake held my hand on our way down to the dock, carrying a basket of snacks and beer in his other. As we got on board Blake and Darren started preparing the boat for the trip. Chase on the other hand, didn't seem very interested in helping them.
