Music we're playing loud on the speakers, as the house already was full of people.
Yet, I wasn't in the mood of partying right now. And all of these people didn't make up for those who I sort of wish were here...
Liz came running up to me with a red cup of some sketchy drink. "Here Katey, have some."
I frowned. "I think I'll pass tonight."
My words seemed to have deeply upset Liz as her whole posture colapsed. "Oh my gosh, don't be so boooring Kaaaate."
I grabbed her by her shoulders and looked into her eyes with a mixture of worry and amusement. "How much have you really been drinking?"
She waived the question away with her hand, letting her body fall into my arms. She then leaned in, getting up to my ear. "I have a surprice for you!" she yelled over the music, making me rub my ear out of pain.
I let out a short laugh and smiled. "Oh yeah? What is that?"
She hiccupped, before pushing herself up to my face again. "I invited your friend Blake! He is coming."
My body froze.
"Why the hell did you do that?" My heart started pounding as I started picturing that awkward conversation that had to be held once he came.
Liz frowned with her eyes closed. "You can't hide forever Kate." she yelled. "And also, I think it's time for you to get some real action..." She went her finger over my body with a smirk, making me roll my eyes.
I decided that I wasn't mad at Liz for doing this. First of all, because she probably invited him while being intoxicated with whatever she had flowing around in her blood now, and second of all, because she sort of had a point...
That didn't take away my nervousness though.
"I have to go, Liz," I said, planning to lock myself into my room.
"Oh? Okay. See you later then!" Her body danced away towards the crowd. But suddenly she stopt as she turned to me again. "Oh! I forgot to tell you!"
Tell me? What?
"That Blake guy ask if he could bring his friends -he said you were friends with them too- so I said yes!"
She turned proudly around with a smile as I felt all of my insides moving.
That meant... Chase was coming too.
My eyes datrted to the front door, as I stressed grabbed the cup of drink that Liz had placed on the counter.
In a desperate attempt to calm downy nerves, I chugged it all at once.
Holy fucking butterflies. My stomach was full of them. And they were angry.
What the hell was I supposed to do?!
Autpmatically I ran up the stairs, heading for my bedroom. Begging that no one had occupied it, I pushed down the door handle and rushed into the room.
A bit more annoyed at Liz, I let my back slide down the door, eventually sitting with my arms locked around my knees, prosessing that Blake and Chase were coming to my house - and at the same damn time!
It was desided. I was NOT leaving my room until the only people left in this house was me and Liz!
After about fifteen minutes, my butt hurt from the hard floors, so I got up on my legs, thinking to move to my bed.
Woah.
Oh my gosh.. The sketchy cup...
The same dizzy feeling that I got the night with the cupcakes and that wine, hit my body. Only not as strong this time.
